This is a custom palette. Loving my new shades.
I applied relatively light makeup: eye-liner, green and light brown eye shadow, and a tiny bit of blush. I want to look nice, but not overly made-up, to see my endocrinologist.
Walking down the street, I came up on this guy who was actually applying eye makeup while walking at a brisk pace. I of course asked if I could take his picture. He was obviously in a hurry. (How many people apply makeup while walking - hard enough in a moving subway.) But he happily obliged.

This picture represents learning how to put makeup on. I remember my debut in high school…the first experiences. I wanted to feel beautiful and I wanted the boys to look at me. I learned from my mom and did it with my friends. I would also read magazines to get tips. I became a reference in terms of makeup! I think it is symbolic in a woman’s life and it is an important step as well. Once you’ve started, you can’t stop, and it follows you your whole life! Makeup is also a very powerful seduction tool. I chose this picture because I had bought new makeup and I was getting ready for Christmas dinner at my grandmother’s house. I also like the way I look in that dress even if the face isn’t that nice! : ( I think makeup is like straightening my hair, as I explained in “Straight Hair”.
