Did some major retail therapy last week and it’s all coming in! Some good, some ehh, working on my separates game. It’s not dresses 24/7 around here!

Back last year Coomodel announced they were going to introduce changes to their bodies called “2.0 series” which introduced improvements to the bodies, but since I bought my Coomodel bodies from faceless Chinese sellers I was getting their old stock first which I don’t mind for the price/shipping costs. So I was pretty surprised to see both of these Coomodel bodies were the 2.0 versions.
I intended for the tall Caucasian body to go for my childhood Action Man but surprisingly, Coomodel changed their bodies to be slightly different coloured to better match other series’ heads. This resulted in the body better matching Integrity Toys’ Hispanic skin tone, and so my Francisco head got an almost perfect matching body.
Some other things I noticed in the 2.0 bodies asides from skin colour was that they now have significantly smaller nipples, the overall skin tone is a lot less shiny and the joints stopped squeaking, so I’m pretty happy a decent body is now significantly more improved overall.
I intended for the black body to go with my Vintage Brad head but the skin tone is nowhere near the skin tone of the head so I’m a bit miffed especially since his current body matches so well but I hate it functionally. Well at least I got a spare Coomodel body which is always a good thing.

Long Story Short:
I had a snail in a jar sitting on the counter and he got out in the night and ate some junk mail laying on the counter near the jar.
I had no idea that snails would eat mail.

I shot this roll with a Bronica S and the standard Nikkor 75mm f/2.8.
I am really impressed with the camera and the lens! I uploaded these shots large so that you could appreciate the detail. What an amazing piece of equipment. The Bronica history is really an interesting and sort of inspiring story.
