Finally sorted everything for my iMac set up with the HDDs for the Drobo finally arriving! Very happy with it all.

The 2x 24inch LCDS are mounted on Planar Dual Monitor Stand. I'm using Synergy, to connect all 3 screens and to control the MacbookPro & Mac Mini wirelessly.
Update: I removed my black macbook and replace it with the Mac Mini to make some space on my table :)
Test driving the Razer Kabuto mouse pad. Not a gamer (which it's supposedly designed for), but I like it so far.
Apple Remote leaning on an HP LCD with Windows 7 running on the computer.
Color corrected, cropped, straightened and resized using Photoshop.

Those collectable -nowadays- keyboards are so welldesigned and ergonimically-great that I can't live without them. Plus the nessecity of multi-touch-based input source to fully utilize Lion have brought me to use the Magic mous einsted of the great Mighty Mouse.
I work on a MacBook Pro laptop that plugs into the Apple Cinema Display monitor. Next to that is a Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner for digitizing everything. Apple keyboard and basic Logitech mouse (I had a MagicMouse but it just plain hurt my hand). Also featured: World of Warcraft stuffed gryphon, Kindle, iPad, ubiquitous moleskine (Pac Man edition).

Finally deployed the RAST bedside table from IKEA to organised all my modems, mio set top box, Mac Mini, switches etc. No more iMac 24", streamline to use just the Dell U2410 monitor with my MacBook Pro Core i7 2.66Ghz 8GB RAM

James Mellors, 'Magic Mouse' Roller Coaster

James Mellors has made a name for himself travelling massive rides and requires a large transport fleet to support them. Parked up in Long Eaton are a cluster of Fodens used with the Magic Mouse, all painted in his unmistakable livery apparently known as 'Mellors Pink'.

This is the beasty sub-woofer of the 7.1 speaker set. I have used only 2.1, however, because I don't have 5.1 from the hackintosh.
Plus the speakers looked ugly on the walls. So I make do without them for the time being.
It's just so awesome!

I added an extra 2GB of RAM so I now have a maximum of 4GB. I've only noticed minor performance improvements in a couple of programs and in a few areas of general computing. I'm left somewhat disappointed in the minimal speed bump.

The 500GB WD HDD died so I had it replaced with a brand new Seagate 1TB HDD.

Added an extra 2GB of RAM for a combined 6GB.
EDIT: March 2016
Replaced the 1TB HDD for a 240GB SSD. Revised specs are now thus:
"Early 2008" iMac 24" 2.8GHz 6GB RAM 240GB SSD
UPDATE 2022:
Still using it. A few years back I upgraded the CPU to 3.06GHz, which was salvaged from Apple's top-of-the-line iMac from their 2008 range. The difference in performance is un-appreciable.
UPDATE July 2024:
It finally died in November or December 2022. I suspect the PSU failed. It's just a matter of replacing said part but there's no point. It's been a great computer that served as my daily driver for 14 years. I'm on PC now (reluctantly) and it's alright, but I miss using a Mac. Hopefully I will get one soon.

Although thin, though, it is sturdy and reliable. I was so worried that the cables wouldn't fit behind the TV, but is was okay, eventually
Trying to figure out a carrying bag for my nMP for when i travel. I remembered when i was setting up my nMP that i had a old camera bag collecting dust in my closet.
The bag is a Lowepro Flipside 400 AW. I've had this bag for years, haven't used it much at all with my gear usually in a Pelican 1510 case or my Ari bag.
Its got a front compartment, long/tall enough to hold a Apple wireless keyboard and loads of accessories (usb/TB cables, power cable, surge protector). Bright side to camera bags are they're made to hold lots of random items and most come with rain covers.
But for now this will do until i decided on something permanent. I want something that has a laptop spot so i can bring a portable monitor. Looking at a few other bags/cases at the moment.
Another carrying bag/case i'm looking at is a Pelican 1560 case. I have a 1510 for my camera gear and another Pelican case for my guns , i definitely trust them.
Whichever bag/case i purchase, i'll end up ordering a Sea to Summit dry bag to go with it, don't want any tiny particles to make their way into the nMP while its in travel (pelican cases with pick-n-pluck foam can shed little bits of foam).
Might end up buying a bag for now and the case somewhere down the road.
These two Apple-branded stuff have been the main tools of the trade, and can cater for almost all my needs in computing.
I have found that an iMac is just sitting over the corner, while this little "beast" has paired up with one of my iMac's siblings, the Magic Mouse.
They both are portable, elegant, feature-rich and work straight out of the box.
I rearranged cables and managed to get the phone line inside my room to have the Wifi Router at hand reach, and consequently installed a phone, too.
Secondarily, I picked the toothbrush holder at the Bargain section at IKEA, and utilized it as pencil holder, instead.

purchased 10.07.10 @ Best-Buy Clovis, California.
a PC user for the longest time. Mac is quiet an exploration. Learning a new format and applications is not hard as it looks. Thanks to my brother who got me into this. He is an Apple follower who owns a Mac, an iPod and iPad is enjoying the hassle free and virus free products for more than a year. Thanks to mom and dad for buying me a Mac.
