So, we booked the Magic Castle Hotel thinking this was it. Oh no! The hotel is a much more boring building next door. This is an exclusive club to which we couldn't get in!

Each year Mic Corely comes to the library and puts on an amazing magic show! It's always a big hit with the kids!
My entry for the monthly challenge at Art Bead Scene - inspired by the shades of green in one of Monet's Water Lily paintings, which made me think of a shady pond in an enchanted forest...
Somehow, the result makes me think of Saint Patrick's Day ;)
I added it to the Fun with Focals challenges group, as it does have a leather bail. This is an old one, but I made a new one for the challenge using the same technique.
Art Bead: faux stone donut, made by me from Fimo polymer clay, with inclusions of tea - anything with te in it just has to be good, right? ;)
Beads: bronze tubes, semi-precious stone beads

February 4, 2011 visit to Disney Magic Kingdom. The weather had turned nice by this point in the day and the lighting was simply fantastic!! First time back to Disney since 1994!

This beautiful five-piece sectional table – comprising two semi-round cabesera tables with frieze drawers and three rectangular sections—can be easily extended or shortened as needed. The restrained use of inlay and the delicate-looking legs indicate an early example. The legs are skillfully hand-carved with elegant turnings and reedings, terminating in finely shaped bobbin feet.
