One of my attempts for the MM theme "Condiments". It's a very tiny (5,5 cm high. 2,5 cm wide at the widest point) bottle of Maggi, a condiment we put on eggs, tomatoes, in soups etc. Very 'lecker'! :)
Today's story and sketch by me #1438, is about an interesting lady who just arrived through a time portal. Yes a time portal from the future, how far in the future, was a question that interested Gwimo, who was taking a break from studying the red fig tree he is sitting under, when the saw quivering mist as the portal opened and out flew the Zombie Hair Dresser Lady, we now know is Maggie, from the year 2066. Gwimo is trying his best to not get to emotionally involved with Maggie, once he learned she is , or was a hair stylist on the Planet Yooie, in dimension 13, as was Gwimo's, First, and Second Wives vocation. Gwimo learned Maggie was simply entering the drive thru at her local Moon Pie Shop, when it opened up a dimension portal, and she was transported to this time on our Beautiful Volcanic Tropical Planet we can Budahunga. There are many questions to be answered, will Gwimo, become romantically involved with Maggie, why he became an arborculturist, and what is wrong with the Red Fig, will have to be stories for another time, until then Tata the Rod Blog.

This is the ultimate quicky of noodles - the fried instant noodle.
The instant noodle is first soaked in hot water to soften then friend with eggs, some vegetables like cabbage or choy sum, slices of red chilli and if you are lucky school prawns. The flavoring is sprinkled back onto the noodles when frying.
To get it right, the noodles cannot come out a soggy lump. From my observation the trick is to fry everything in wok first, add in the egg, while stirring. And just before the egg gets cooked the noodles are tossed in and sticks to the egg without getting over cooked.
Mamak (Indian-Muslim eatery) style will sometimes have some tofu and rojak condiments.
Best eaten on it's own with a large glass of ice tea!
Despite her Po-Metru origins, something of the Ga-Matoran seemed to have rubbed off on Magahki, or "Maggi" as her friends call her. She's obsessed with knowledge and greedily grasps at any fact she can lay hands on. So when she encountered Mewi with his... unique situation and promise of adventure, she hopped along for the ride, allegedly for "research purposes." There is some part of her that has grown quite fond of his antics.
I met Maggi today in Tavistock Pannier Market.
Maggi is the creator of The Little Puppet Shop.
We chatted about the project of creating an album of 100 strangers in Tavistock, which I hope will document something of the people of the town.
