Last July I had some Japanese guests visit my studio from a big magazine, Madame Figaro. I have to say, Madame Figaro is one of those magazines that makes me drool when I flip through it's glossy pages. So it's an extra special honor to be featured in their December issue on Bay Area creatives.

There's a new Australian online magazine out called Fete, and they are showcasing some of my striped cushions from last summer, courtesy of the lovely Sibella Court, stylist, author & traveller.

This is an image from my photoshoot of Alex Magee's 2 litre 16 valve Vauxhall Nova (Opel Corsa for the euro peeps out there), and was snapped in July 2004. The photoshoot was commissioned by Modified Motors magazine based in the Republic of Ireland for use as a car feature in their monthly magazine.
The car itself had received a complete strip down and rebuild from the ground up.
Location was in a local industrial estate in Magheramason, which is found just outside Londonderry in Northern Ireland.

I stumbled upon a folder of pics from when I fitted the Reiger bodykit, Irmscher "M3 style" mirrors, Quad headlamp conversion and some other goodies.
This shot was always one of my favourites as it went about showing off the newly added goodies without having to show the whole of the car to do so.
I still love the colour that both my Astra's shares - Breeze Blue - it wasn't exactly a normal colour to see the Astra Coupe painted, and even rarer still in the Turbo edition. When I ordered my 1.9CDTI Mk5 Astra Sportshatch I specifically asked for it in the same colour, and by heck they looked great sitting side by side on the driveway.
After initially spending the time and money under the lid on the engine I finally gave into fitting the Reiger kit in mid 2005 (car was new in 2002), and after this the car was featured in Total Vauxhall and had several smaller snaps and features in other magazines and newspapers.
