MacroMonday's theme this week has been "junk." Like, "My illustrations are junk." Making political statements such as: "You're not working very good as is. Split up, Regroup, Merge." Grabbing the first bag out of my "junk drawer" and dumping it on a little pile of construction sand with a strobe just up and behind.
MacroMonday's theme "Imagination"... I thought I'd take this "angle" on the theme...
Urban reflections in the warped glass.... view in "Light-box" really brings out the reflections, and pattern...
Exhausted after a night of passion, the toothbrushes cuddle in a post-coital haze and watch the sunrise.
Here are the other shots in the series...
Originally taken for a thread in the group Extraordinarily Ordinary. But seemed fun for MacroMonday's Beauty in the Everyday theme.

taken for macromonday's theme of the week "spices". this spice is called "Rosa Pfeffer" in German and it is a pink pepper blossom. don't know the correct word in English but it tastes really really nice. try it and see for yourself.

These are 2 Banjo Picks. I think I used them one year in a Halloween costume. Happy Macro Monday’s everyone.
For Macro Monday's "Glass (colored)"
This is a photo i took months ago at a Starbucks. I love that clear glass at the very tip reflecting all that lovely amber color!!
macromonday's theme is upside down, backward or sideways.

Created for MacroMonday's Weekly Theme Project. Monday, May 7: "Water Play"
Today was a rainy day here in Colorado . . . perfect for this week's MacroMonday theme of "water play"! Here are some raindrops on a colorful leaf.
Explored May 7, 2012, #187!!

btb, these are mini scrabble tiles from a travel game and they fit in the grooves of the hot mat very nicely :)

365D color with black for 6/16
the original was a possibility for slider sunday and bobbi, pikpix, suggested a square crop
(see pic below in the first comment box),
which got me to thinking that just the rust would be neat
for macromonday's theme of all one color.
sorry, i couldn't resist leaving in a little chip of BLUE paint ~grin~
This leprechaun surprised me while I was watering my shamrock plant.
Just kidding - it's actually a green and white wooden nutcracker that I set next to the plant and a checked napkin. The checks became rounded in the processing. I used pse10 maximum and watercolor filters. See another shot of this nutcracker here. This was going to be for macromonday's "green" theme, but it got a little too much photo shop, so it ended up here. Happy St. Pat's Day if you celebrate!

MacroMonday's theme: Songs from your teens.... "Rain" by Missy Elliot! Not really representative of my music collection, but a fun video! www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHcyJPTTn9w
Taken for MacroMonday's weekly theme. Square.
I set up a grouping of squares in a square. Illuminated from the back and side, I am having a hard time choosing just one or two...
combining macromonday's theme of an opening
with christmas lights in containers
(in this case a brown paper bag)
A little figure that my sister sent to me from Arizona several years ago. Ko-ko-pel-li (kô kô pel´ lê) n. {der. Hopi "kokopilau" (koko = wood, pilau = hump)} the humpbacked Flute Player, mythical Hopi symbol of fertility, replenishment, music, dance, and mischief.
Who Was Kokopelli?
Known as a fertility god, prankster, healer and story teller, Kokopelli has been a source of wonder throughout the country for centuries. Kokopelli embodies the true American Southwest, and dates back over 3,000 years ago, when the first petroglyphs were carved. Although his true origins are unknown, this traveling, flute-playing Casanova is a sacred figure to many Southwestern Native Americans. Carvings of this hunch-backed flute-playing figure have been found painted and carved into rock walls and boulders throughout the Southwest. From: www.indigenouspeople.net/kokopelli.htm
this photo was taken for macromonday's weekly theme "Oscar Wilde quotes".
Here I was thinking of:
"I am too fond of reading books to care to write them", by Oscar Wilde.
I love reading and always have since i was a child. And I think the best invention ever was these tiny bookmarks permanently attached to books (I have no idea what they are called technically correct but you know what I mean).
