We had just a bit of snow a few times this week. By the time I got to the daffodil all that was left was this water drop. Keeping my fingers crossed that we’re done with snow.
A twisted tiny decoration that came attached to the ribbon on a present. Found it while sorting things to toss or donate. Or photograph for #MacroMonday's #twist theme ;)
See? I knew it would come in handy someday! No wonder it seems so difficult to pack.

Many thanks for looking and for previous fun comments!
Griff eines antiken Bügeleisens, es funktionierte noch ohne Elektrizität. Es wurde auf dem Holzherd gewärmt. Anno dazumal.
macromonday's theme is "details from my neighborhood"
this is another of the hydrangea petals
ODC silhouette (the veins are in silhouette??)
Taken for MacroMonday's weekly theme. Square.
I set up a grouping of squares in a square. Illuminated from the back and side, I am having a hard time choosing just one or two...
Edit: Hah. Looks like everyone liked this one the best. Thanks for getting this in Explore and the amazing amount of views in such a short amount of time.
For MacroMonday's theme "Unusual patterns".
Lichen on the wall. Type unknown, but it is quite a long time present.
Photo taken for MacroMonday's weekly theme. This week's theme is "Floating"
The coffee beans ARE floating.
Downward.
So I stopped them with a strobe.
Grind your own daily. Taste the magic.
Look at that!
With bare hands, you can easily put a thread in a tiny needle right? This is for the Macromonday's theme "Deception".
- I originally intended to post this for last week's MM but I decided to keep it. ^__^
- Your comments, faves and views are greatly appreciated my friends.
- Have a wonderful Monday and HMM!
It may or may not be a surprise to you, but I didn't expect to see so many hidden "Five Dollars" words in a $5 USD bill. I thought they were just patterns in the border. =D
I think the actual font size is less or around 1/10th of a millimeter. =D
Taken for the Macromonday's theme "Unexpected"

When I read this week's MacroMonday's theme "Games or Game pieces" I initially thought of the game pieces from our Monopoly game. But these kind of 'pieces' shots seemed predictable. So I chose a game controller from an X-box instead.
After trying out various angles and compositions I noticed that leaving out more of the 'it's a game controller' context seemed to deliver a better image. More abstract, but still recognizable.
Anyways, this week's theme was fun to shoot, have a great MacroMonday!!
Dew droplets on a Crocus.
Photo was taken with a Nikon 1 J5 with a +1 +2 +4 & +10 close-up filters attached the front.
The below Photo (comments section) was taken without the added close-up attachments.
for MacroMonday's theme: Childhood Memories
When I was a kid, you were a real loser if your mom got you the fat crayons that the preschoolers used. And if your mom got you the big box with the sharpener in the back, then you were really cool! A few years ago I got the box of 96... just so I'd have it. I'm cool! :)
For MacroMonday's theme: Hobbies.
I have a bad addiction to Star Wars merchandise. I collect it religiously. A fun hobby, though. These are Galactic Heroes helmets. I collect carded action figures as well and I especially like international carded variations (Japanese, Chinese, Euro, Italian, UK, Korean, etc.) of the POTF2 (1997-1998) series.
In the bathroom cabinet my daughter had many bath bombs. The pink one on top she made herself. They are sitting on a gray washcloth.
For MacroMonday, Defining Beauty
So often like this in lonely places in the forest, he would come upon something--bird, flower, tree--beautiful beyond all words, if there had been a soul with whom to share it. Beauty is meaningless until it is shared. George Orwell, Burmese Days
Perhaps this is MacroMonday's, Flickr's raison d etre.
This time I have no choice, because the Macromonday´s theme of the week targets in the center of myself. A suffered heart, surrounded by the notes of Elvis Costello´s Almost Blue.
Theres a version from his love Diana Krall, but Costello´s is best. You can see more of him at Youtube, and also the version with trumpeter Chet Baker.
Macromondays theme: “The Blues”. As preferred, SOOC.
