La vigne est omniprésente dans le Mâconnais et elle est particulièrement belle en automne, spécialement en fin octobre sous les rayons du soleil.
A l'horizon, on reconnait les 2 vigies emblèmes de la région, les Roches de Vergisson et de Solutré.

La Pélopée maçonne est une guêpe de taille élancée d'assez grande taille : 17 à 23 pour les mâles et 24 à 28 pour les femelles
Elle est originaire d'Amérique du sud ,du Canada jusqu'en
Amérique centrale et aux Antilles. Introduite dans les années 70 en Europe . Le cycle de vie complet de la guêpe peut durer de quelques semaines à plus d'un an, de l'oeuf pondu dans une cellule du nid à l'émergence de l'adulte. Les guêpes maçonne se trouvent principalement dans les zones tropicales . - 2 clics à voir en grand

The Mâconnais district is located in the south of the Burgundy wine region in France. It takes its name from the town of Mâcon. The photo shows the view from the Rock of Salutré (Roche de Solutré), a limestone escarpment overlooking the commune of Solutré-Pouilly. Occupied by man for at least 55,000 years, it is also the cradle of the sought-after Pouilly-Fuissé wines. Mâcon was a major crossroads in Roman times, and grapes would have been brought by the Romans if they were not already cultivated by the Celts. The limestone hills are covered in alkaline clay that best suits Chardonnay. In the 1980s French President François Mitterrand started to make ritual ascents of the Rock of Salutré once a year.

Macon County Courthouse in Tuskegee Alabama was built in 1906 in the Romanesque style by architects James Wingfield Golucke & Company of Atlanta, Georgia. The building faces southeast and is a three story buff colored brick, stone and concrete structure. The building is located in the center of Tuskegee. The southeast front has a high seven story square brick clock tower with steep roof. There are octagonal towers on either side of the clock tower. On the west side is a three arched porticoes. The courthouse is the only courthouse in Alabama that has gargoyles locate at each corner of the clock tower.
