17 screws later, the top section of the lower part of the laptop lifts off, revealing its internals. The big hole is where the battery goes.

Sitting in class the other day and sharing a poem I pulled up on my computer with some classmates, I noticed I couldn't see the poem, but I could see everything outside...so forgetting to take that shot, I tried it again today...though the other day the sky was bright blue and had some puffy clouds...oh well, I'll probably re-try this in the near future! haha, and maybe with a cleaner computer screen, whoops!
