Well this was the first of SIX, yes 6! Dead pixels, scratches, dings and dirt under screen glass.

I gave up on number 6. Disgusting quality control, or total lack of it.

Success. One of the biggest reasons I bought my refurbished MacBook Pro 17" was ease of connecting to work on a bigger screen using GoToMyPC. I just change the resolution on my host PC and ta-da!. If I installed Windows I would get a perfect emulation of being on my office PC, but I don't want to spend the money to buy Windows just yet. Maybe someday.

I still love how clean this set up is, even after seeing it so many times before.

Late Christmas gift to me from my wife, she made me a coupon so I could order what I wanted. After waiting until MacWorld '08 was over, (and deciding a MacBook Air wouldn't fill my needs) this is what I got.
