If you have a cat you know that they like to be where the attention is. This means that they like to jump on top of the book or paper you are reading, or the laptop that you are working on. Izze had done this while I was editing a video (I don't remember what now). I couldn't help take a picture. The Macbook Pro's screen provided nice lighting on Izze's face. Having my 50mm f1.8 and shooting at ISO 1600 helped get a pretty good exposure.

The finder shows you files and folders, but its all bits and bytes, baby.

My out of warranty MacBook Pro battery just exploded the other day - I hope Apple will send me another!

blatant rip off of a photo i saw in strobist's stream. thought it might be fun to try and pull of. mine of course pails in comparison...

technical details: flash was sitting on keyboard aimed at screen. a piece of white paper with a square cut out to let some of the flash light up the apple logo more. camera on trip remotely firing the flash. i would have loved to have something to give a wee bit of fill flash up front but my older flash will remotely fire, but only at the wrong time.
