I must have taken at least 100 shots of this village. Although its a hill top village it is also surronded by hills which meant that I could never get it in direct sunlight during the golden hour. It was also difficult trying to find a location with a clear shot without any trees blocking the view. I eventually decided to use the trees to my advantage and used this little bit of of framing to add some depth.

I don't need to say much here except invite you to enjoy the serenity and the reflected light. The foam you can see on the water has washed down the rapids of the Cataract Gorge. This is the spot where the South Esk River meets the Tamar.
[This one must be seen in the largest size possible. If you look closely you'll see some spots of rain on the water's surface.]
Must be gone for a while. Have many darling dresses to show....sorry that I am behind on showing so many of them. Feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment...and need some photo mojo too.

You must walk a mile in and out to get to these falls. Just a short distance from the falls Morgan Creek joins the Carp River, which has its own rapids and falls.
I try to visit here every year!

A grizzly in Denali National Park on the hunt for sustenance.
By August, which is early Autumn in Alaska, grizzlies are eating constantly, predominantly soapberries and blueberries. This mama bear had two older cubs with her, and their hyperphagia made them nearly oblivious to the tour bus driving along the road.
I must look clueless when I am out shooting and have sad puppy dog eyes were friendly people want to help correct my ways.
On this sunset, I was at Panorama Point in Capitol Reef National Park. The "view" is the opposite direction, and I was set up with my tripod looking in the opposite direction from everyone else.
Three separate people came up to me, letting me know where I was supposed to be shooting. I thanked them for their kindness and stood my ground :-)

This is one of my all time favourite image because of its unusualness, This is again off the shore at Whitstable kent, England taken on the same morning as the previous posting, we came across this fisherman wading about 100 yards in the sea but what makes this for unusual is those wind turbines in the distance ! I have not seen anything like this before!

A must for any trip to Wicklow, the impressive round tower stands 33 meters tall. Built almost 1000 years ago by the
monks of St. Kevin’s monastery.
With the doorway high up in the wall made it really difficult for any outsider to enter, making the perfect place for the monks to hide out during attacks

A crane was surprised by a fox. It ended with the fox had to run back into the woods. No one was hurt
It must have been a good dream, it looks as though this fox is smiling as it wakes up from a nap.
It is amazing that a fox can sleep comfortably in temperatures well below freezing.It's common to see a fox sound asleep on top of the snow, especially on sunny spring days.
Chances are, there is a den nearby and this fox's mate was attending the kits.
