Nearly 100 teams took part in the 2019 Human Exploration Rover Challenge, held April 12-13 at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The competition, hosted by NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, challenges high school and college teams to design, build and test human-powered roving vehicles inspired by the Apollo lunar missions and future exploration missions to the Moon, Mars and beyond. High school and university students competed in the 2018 Human Exploration Rover Challenge event at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Students came from across the U.S. as well as several foreign countries such as Brazil, Germany, India, and Mexico. This event, which is normally a 2 day event, was shortened to 1 day in 2018 due to adverse weather conditions.
On Saturday, April 23, high school and college teams from across the United States and Puerto Rico participated in NASA's 2022 Student Launch rocketry challenge. The annual event was hosted by NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The challenge – one of NASA's Artemis Student Challenges – is managed by NASA's Southeast Regional Office of STEM Engagement.

In what began as an otherwise dreary evening, astronomers at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in the north central Alabama town of Huntsville, were settling in for another night of small talk about the wife & kids when one very observant astronomer turned his eye toward an adjacent computer monitor and saw this image.
"HOLY SHIT, Dick! Looky here a'dis!," exclaimed the excited astronomer, who asked not to be identified.
"I bleeve we gots us a sho 'nuff gawd-damn space alien!," he blurted out in amazement.
"Hell far and damnashun, Dick! That looks like a billy goat head! You shore it ain't the Devil in disguise?," he asked.
Chief Research Scientist LeRoi "Bubba Arnsides" Walters confirmed the sighting and immediately alerted the Missile Defense Command (MiCoM) of the United States Army which placed all missile silos on GLOBAL HIGH ALERT.
President Obama, and his National Security Defense Team, along with Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of Homeland Security, and the Secretaries of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Secretary of State John Kerry were quickly debriefed on the incident as American troops worldwide stood ready to defend Planet Earth from Alien Attack.
The highly respected NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama has CONFIRMED a Space Alien sighting the night of Friday/Saturday 23/24 May 2014 during a watch for what turned out to be a Confirmed May Camelopardalid.
The hitherto unknown alien was seen plainly by Marshall astronomers as they pointed their high-powered telescopes skyward to watch for what they hoped would be a Confirmed May Camelopardalid.
They were astounded!
