Park and Redwood City fire departments responded to a single-alarm fire
that took place at Bayfront Park in Menlo Park on Wednesday just after
2:30 p.m. No injuries were reported, fire officials said. The cause of
the small blaze is believed to be a private contractor who accidentally
started a fire while mowing the dry grass as part of fire prevention,

At a general meeting of All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) of MPs on extreme poverty held on October 14, 2012 at the Oath Room of the National Parliament of Bangladesh, Colin Risner - CEO and Tareq Salahuddin - Communications Manager of Shiree briefed the process of developing the Manifesto for the Extreme Poor following a discusstion of the Members of Paliament.
The idea of Manifesto for the Extreme Poor was well-accepted by the MPs and they committed to take it forward.
