I whipped this model up in about an hour after feeling inspired by a picture of a vehicle like this. It’s also got a .50 for self defense, although I would not recommend standing back there while the rockets are in use! Let me know what you guys think, I’m pretty happy with it.

In Rodinian forest camo, this MLRS crew hides out behind some pine trees to evade detection. Their cab is only armored against small arms fire; they're a lot safer behind cover or on the move.
Showing the opening hatches/doors. Ten in total. One thing i really wanted to make sure i did with the model was to have glass in the cab for when the protective shutters are up or open AND have the shutters open the correct ways they do on the real vehicle. I see a lot of these in lego where they have this totally wrong. I know as i made that same mistake years ago lol but at the time my skill was lacking so i just settled for what i could do at that time.
Changed the internal rocket so they are all black and previously they we're hidden due to the rainbow going on.
Added new tips to the rockets
Now has suspension and sits a bit lower. I always planned on this upgrade as i knew it would work well on this kind of model but only decided to do it yesterday finally.

Built on the same general-purpose chassis used by most Zuritanian armored vehicles, the M2170 MLRS is a flexible launch platform for an array of missiles and rocket artillery. It can carry up to 12 missiles at one time. The basic variant carries Keystone missiles, each one of which carries 644 grenades. One launcher firing twelve rockets can completely blanket one square kilometer with submunitions. For this reason, the MLRS is sometimes referred to as the "Grid Square Removal System," or informally among artillery personnel as "the finger of God."
The Fireball rocket system carries thermobaric warheads, which are optimized for use against enemy personnel and fortifications. Otherwise known as fuel-air explosives, they generate a larger fireball than conventional explosives. The Shotput system is a tactical guided ballistic missile, with range of up to 120km. Due to its size, only one missile can be carried in each pod. It can carry cluster munitions like the Keystone rockets, or a specialized payload variable by mission. Each missile is loaded with a fake six-missile pod cover to make it less clear what missiles a battery is deploying with.
The MLRS' hydraulic loading booms can reload missile "six-packs" from trucks or supply dumps in the field without requiring any specialized equipment. This model is painted in jungle camo, and is displayed next to an array of missiles. In service, missiles would never be fired so close to an ammunition depot.

The M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System (M270 MLRS) is an armored, self-propelled, multiple rocket launcher (a type of rocket artillery).
Since the first M270s were delivered to the U.S. Army in 1983, the MLRS has been adopted by several NATO countries. Some 1,300 M270 systems have been manufactured in the United States and in Europe, along with more than 700,000 rockets. The production of the M270 ended in 2003, when a last batch was delivered to the Egyptian Army.

On the real vehicle, the cabin windows can be covered using hatches, to protect them from the rocket blast. When on the move these can be opened. Interestingly, the drivers hatch flips up and the two hatches that cover smaller windows for the two other crew members fold down.
The M270 MLRS weapons system is collectively known as the M270 MLRS Self-Propelled Loader/Launcher (SPLL). The system can fire rockets or MGM-140 ATACMS missiles, which are contained in interchangeable pods. Each pod contains six standard rockets or one guided ATACMS missile; the two types cannot be mixed. The LLM can hold two pods at a time, which are hand-loaded using an integrated winch system. All twelve rockets or two ATACMS missiles can be fired in under a minute. One launcher firing twelve rockets can completely blanket one square kilometer with submunitions.
M270D1 includes a new fire control system that allows for firing GPS-guided rockets, such as GMLRS and ATACMS. The update package consists of a new computer, locating device, GPS antenna, launch control unit, displays and remote control device.
