Unloading (or maybe loading) a load of livestock, probably hogs, who were squealing like pigs. Who’s to say if they were squeals of joy, terror, or ambivalence.
A closer look at the statue at the Martin Luther King Jr Memorial. Dr. King holds a roll of papers with his writings.
Nearby, quotations from his speeches and writings are engraved on the "Inscription Wall" on the flanks of the memorial.

MLK 580L DMS 580. Gilbow 1/24 model of London Transport Daimler DMS 2-door.This is a great diecast model! It's a pity that no further models were made due to recession. I would've loved to see a Bristol VRT/SL3 with 2-door ECW body in City Line livery to the same standard. We live in hope!
There were days when we went somewhere and because it was somewhere different we took photos even though we shouldn't because the light was poor. Then when we developed them the negatives were a bit flat reducing the contrast even more so it was always pleasing then when years later after a bit of tweaking we find one we really like which made it all worthwhile. I think I can certainly say that about this view of a former London DMS at work at Chesterfield in the Eighties.
