I found these little baby mice while working in the garden...

I take this picture with my smartphone

Scouting along the rail line between Anchorage and Seward for a nice train photo, I stumbled across this little fellow chirping at me for invading his territory.

The least weasel is a hunter that feeds heavily on mice and other rodents, as well as rabbits, birds, fish and frogs. This rail bridge straddles a small glacier fed river from Portage Lake, just off of AK-1 near Girdwood, Alaska.

There are 4 little Mice in the eyes of the Owl. This little blind Owl never goes hungry. It senses the prey:-)

Another of Niqui's crochet creations are the Christmas Santa Mice busy delivering the presents this year. The presents and candy canes are all separate pieces and do come out of the sleigh. View large to see the details ..

A couple of Harvest Mice babies for a wonderful sunny Sunday.

Is it because two mice are watching you?

A tender moment as two Harvest Mice sniff each other out.

Back with mouse family, its growing again

Two little cuties, don't believe it more like double trouble. Nutsy and Triggs our little Harvest Mice.

A young male kestrel is using a piece of swiss cheese as bait to attract the mice haha - time for a little bit of fun ;-)

I had to come up with a quick idea for this instance.

My first thought was to superimpose a yoyo, but I figured the cheese makes more sense... if any haha.

The young kestrel kept playing imaginary catches with its claws. I observed him and his brothers exhibiting a similar behaviour, part of their growing-up, exploratory journey.

I visited the pumpkin festival again today. It was my last visit as the festival will be over in a few days and they will probably not show any more new exhibits. What was new this time was the group of mice on a giant pumpkin. Very cute, I think. :)

Hope you are enjoying the season

One of our male Harvest mice doing what he does best, climbing everything and showing off to the females.

Living with cats also means you have to accept being ignored - this photoshoot had obviously lasted too long! Happy Caturday.

Happy Caturday!

Four mice in a row, from an old game! (Amazing that their tails are still intact!)

Second session with the harvest mice and hopefully learning, happier with camera settings this time and mice getting more confident daily. They will investigate anything new and usually destroy it very quickly.

Mice ... !!*
