Dinsdag aan het einde van de middag werd het zonnig en werd er richting Moordrecht gereden. In afwachting van de Unit Cargo, die niet kwam opdagen, reed deze korte goederentrein wel. Het betreft de DB Cargo 6455 met drie sloten wagens afkomstig uit Alpen aan de Rijn. Sinds vorig jaar wordt de Electrolux vestiging weer bij daglicht bediend. Na kopgemaakt te hebben op Gouda passeert trein 62073 Moordrecht op weg naar Kijfhoek Noord.

Chunky but soft rendering, like crumbly dark chocolate.
I sold off the lens later to a friend because this pairing didn't inspire me to take photos and I'm not a fan of the close-to-body focusing tab. Kind of regretted it: B&W images from it look quite special. A bit like a current Voigtlander in terms of contrast and "heft" but without the modern edginess.
But the Summaron + MDA package didn't quite work for me, though. A bit odd, really. The 35mm 3.5 Summaron was supposed to be the natural mate for the MDA. They even made a fixed lens MDA + Summaron model for the German Post Office. But I didn't like the balance.
I bought my Summaron separately for quite a hefty price. It came with the proprietary hood and a handy set of Leica filters -- UV and green. Had it sent for CLA and all.

If the house was burning down would I go back to get it?
On hindsight, yes. But I'd keep and use the lens on my Canon EOS-M instead.

Avagy MDmot akcióban - ez a gép már nem tájidegen, esetleg a pályaszámba lehetne belekötni hisz a 3017-es bátaszéki illetőségű motor volt. Ahogy a kocsik sem a sajátjai utána, kár hogy nem a "saját" szerelvényével dolgozott... Ezek a szerencsétlen zöld kocsik is olyan állapotban vannak amilyenben (nem akarom az előző munkahelyem sem szidni, hisz ott dolgoztam ahová ezek a kocsik is tartoznak karbantartás-ügyileg), főleg hogy a harmadik már jó ideje a honos karbantartási telephelyén pusztul mert megsérült egy tolatási balesetben, olyan mértékben hogy a járműszekrény kora és állapota miatt az már nem javítható, így a kocsi selejtezésre vár. Ezeket leszámítva szuper nap, szuper szervezés és amit még akkor nem tudtunk hogy - ha nem csalnak az emlékeim - négy gép rohadt le aznap

The MDa is a finderless M4. This model was often used for scientific purposes such as microscope photography. You often see them combined with a Visoflex. They are ideal for use with super wide lenses - which is the way I intend to use it. It is replacing my Bessa L which turned out to scratch my film.

2021. szeptember 18-19.-én a MÁV retró hétvégét tartott a 135. számú Szeged - Békéscsaba vasútvonalon. A hétvége folyamán a személyvonatok különleges összeállítással közlekedtek.
