This plant can be found on many country lanes, in Ireland, during July, August and September with a wonderful display of spikes of bright reddish-orange flowers. A familiar sight in the west of Ireland particularly. plant belongs to the family Iridaceae

Untypical for my stream telephoto city view perspective. I almost never do such shots.

In 2023 that old industrial area was completely demolished to build new apartment towers.

It looks like Nigel has bagged his shot of 66528 'Madge Elliott MBE' climbing up from Crag Hall and past the Fan House.

I chose to hide below this great stone wall, the intention being trying to shield the shot from the low, bright morning sun.

Two Nottingham NET (Nottingham Express Transit) trams passing each other in Market Square. The nearest one is named after the Nottinghamshire and England cricketer Stuart Broad MBE. Having ridden this tramway network I must say I'm highly impressed with it.
