I can't say enough about my Maui Jim sunglasses. I had LASIK surgery on my eyes in 1999, and though I always bought quality sunglasses, the eye doctor recommended Maui Jim. Over the years I have replaced several nose pads and the bows back to my ears, all of which are free for a lifetime with Maui Jim. So, the other day I accidentally broke part of the frame. Went online to Maui Jim and filed a repair order which would cost me about $50. Mailed them off to Lahaina and in 72 hours I had a brand new set of sunglasses. Apparently it was easier and cheaper for them to replace them than to repair them. I love my Maui Jim's.

The Open Ocean display includes several shark species. I believe this is the Grey Reef Shark. Sharks will not attach healthy fish in this Open Ocean display. However, they have an uncanny sense to detect sick fish and will attack them as soon as they are introduced into the tank. As they marine biologists explaned, sharks are one of the ocean's cleaners. Their attacks on humans are rare but highly publicized. The biologists theorize that the swimmers or surfers may be displaying swimming behaviour of unhealthy fish as they splash at the surface.
