Photograph from 2-hour whale-watching cruise out of Maaela Harbor. I missed the closest surfacing to the boat, which took place before the bow while I was on the starboard side.
Maui has endless beaches and each one is just a little different. This beach is on the road to Hana and attracts surfers because the waves will crest about fifty feet from shore but die out before they reach the shore.
