Coupa Software hosted a group of approximately 30 members of a Japanese delegation from non-profit Japanese government organizations JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) and FCOCA (Fukuoka Center of Overseas Commerce in America). The group consisted of Ruby language enthusiasts, including government officials, engineering students and technology leaders, and Yukihiro "Matz" Matsumoto.

High On Fire (il cui frontman è Matt Pike degli Sleep) sono in tour con il loro ultimo lavoro intitolato "Luminifereous".
Gli High on Fire sono un gruppo musicale statunitense di Stoner/Doom metal. Formati da Matt Pike nel 1998 dopo lo scioglimento degli Sleep insieme al batterista Den Kensel ed all'amico chitarrista George Rice passò al basso. Il contratto con la Relapse Records li ha portati all'attenzione del pubblico mondiale divenendo in breve tempo uno dei gruppi principali dell'etichetta.

So, I was wandering around town with a friend to take our digital photography assignments. We got a little off track, and ended up in a thrift store. This is where I met Stranger number two!
C.J. Matz is an Art Education Student at Kutztown University (Small state, apparently!) On weekdays he works at the Attic Kutztown, weekends he works at the Attic Bethlehem, and in the summer he works at the Attic Manayunk.
He's 20 years old and his favorite band is Le Loup. He also likes to keep very organized with boxes.

Marilyn Maye,a fine singer who made most of her recordings in the late 1960s. She still sings now in her 80s and produces shows for other singers.
This album is one of her best since it was recorded with only one arranger/conductor,Peter Matz,so it has a unified,consistent sound. Some of Marilyn's other albums were compiled from recordings she made with several different arrangers/conductors which may result in a group of songs in different styles that don't mix well on one album.As the 1960s went on it became the practice of record companies to issue a single by a singer, then an album built around the single if that song became somewhat successful on the music charts. It was believed that singles were bought mainly by teenagers and albums were bought by adults.So some albums were conceived only after a single showed some hit potential and the album was assembled from songs that were already "in the can" as they say.Since recording sessions were usually for about three or four songs,the singer would end up recording songs on different days and times with whatever arranger/conductors the record producer could hire. So this meant that an album could have several different orchestra leaders with different styles of music arranging.It may be hard to play such an album from start to finish.
