Transparency is about a 1/5. It's been over a month since we had good clear skies and tonight is no exception with light cloud everywhere. Looking at the sky you can see the halos around the stars but I just wanted to get some photons.

Missed my early morning alarms and a chance for a different view of Mars. Seeing was very good before sunrise, though, and this image came out well.

Mars was magnitude -0.87 with angular diameter of 13.24", and was 89.8% illuminated.

Mars taken on the night of 14th November 2020 using a 8" SCT, Skyris 618C CCD at f33.

This image shows something different. The two lines in the middle of the globe were not there before, so either they are a storm which is blowing in a very narrow stream or these are smoke coming from Mars and being blown away, smoke such as a volcanic plume perhaps??

WEEK 31 – Stateline Kroger (II)

Closing us out today is this straight-on shot of the store’s bakery department basket sign, which is large in its own right but pales in comparison to the uber-large Bauhaus décor lettering that graced this wall in the past. We’ll explore more of this department, the neighboring deli, the pharmacy, and front end in two weeks, after which we’ll head outside and conclude this set with a few more exterior photos, so be sure to stick around for that. Also, since I mentioned “uber,” that finally reminds me to share with y’all something I’d been meaning to for a while now but kept forgetting when I was writing all my descriptions: I saw the movie “Stuber” recently, and it was hilarious!! I definitely recommend checking that out, if you have the chance. And, since I just said the word “recommendation” and my music list for Tuesday didn’t get posted, well, you know what’s next…!

(Oh, but first, next week – more from the Wolfchase TRU-turned-Ollie's! There you go. Now to the music :P )

1. The End is Not the Answer – Three Days Grace

2. Campus – Bastille

3. London Calling – Clash (The Clash was also the subject of this week's installment of "First Drafts of Rock")

4. Head Above Water – Theory of a Deadman

5. The Collapse – Adelitas Way

6. Darker Side of Me – Veer Union 🔥

7. Meant to Live – Switchfoot

8. Hollow Man – Rev Theory

9. All I Wanna Do – Sheryl Crow

10. The Joyride – There for Tomorrow

11. Hooked on a Feeling – Blue Swede

12. Gimme a Chance – Plain White T’s

13. This is War – 30 Seconds to Mars

14. Radio #2 – Ataris

15. Talk to Me – Stevie Nicks

16. Dear Joan – Tabitha’s Secret

17. Cast No Shadow – Oasis

18. Who Knows – Zac Brown Band

19. Who’s Crying Now – Journey

20. Souls a’fire – Matt Corby

21. Should’ve When You Could’ve – Skillet

The first invader of the third invasion wave in Marseille which took place from 05/08/2020 till 20/08/2020 was located on the corner of the Gare de Marseille-Blancarde. A cricket in the colors of Marseille.

Till August 2020 I found and flashed all 13 space invaders of wave 1 (MARS_01 - MARS_11 - 2004 and wave 2 (MARS_12 and MARS_13). But during wave 3 in August 2020 the number of space invaders went up to 97. In total 84 space invaders on my list again.
