An SD80MAC leads NS 11V west on the Pittsburgh Line between Birmingham and Tyrone. In their final years of active service these engines broke out a bit more from their normal South Fork pool and often led trains on various parts of the NS systems. The 7214 was originally Conrail 4126 and was retired in 2020.

Mac the cat, so ginger and old,
Sits atop the fence, quiet and bold.
In Munich town, his home and place,

CSX 4755 leads a westbound empty coal train across the field at Fredricks Hall, VA. This was one of the earliest warm days this year, and flowers were just staring to sprout up across central Virginia.
