She has the green thumb, loves flowers of every kind and made this watercolour image. . . a good week to everyone.
Looking for what your mind do not want to see is the same like looking for something that doesn't exists. Both are invisible to eyes. - A. S.
I used some lo fi processing for this shot, which I took back in October 2021. South Lynn Windfarm is located just offshore from Skegness on the Lincolnshire coast. I shot this image from the nature reserve at Gibraltar Point, which is a place I highly recommend if you love wide open vistas and watching seabirds and migratory birds.
Always a delight to see so many birds arrive again -- over 30 different varieties now: Baltimore Orioles, Rose Breasted Grosbeaks, Red Bellied Woodpeckers, Yellow Warblers and Indigo Buntings. . .sorry to have been out of touch with everyone the last month, but will soon be more active again.
perhaps
we were
too young,
two trying to
become one,
to disappear
into shadows
along the quay,
the Pont Neuf,
ripples of light
the water
became, last
two pigeons
that watched
us vanish, hand
in hand where
the path ahead
lay dark, where
city sounds,
night sounds,
everything
stopped.

Well if Julie Andrews run around hills singing when i got here and could see this view with trees as a foreground i skipped for joy.
Lynn Valley, Vancouver, BC. I had hoped to get some great shots of Lynn Valley; but that day was completely overcast. What you see here is what I saw in my head.
I used a stock photo for the sky and used 'blend if' in PS. A little bit of 'clone stamp' tool to make it look a little more natural.
Photo of a batik art print by Lynn Blaikie, Yukon, Canada. A beautiful image reminiscent of the Holy Family and the Nativity.
2000 years later, not much has changed in the Holy Land. Then, as now, thousands were killed by a powerful leader, including babies. The Holy Family, temporarily made homeless, had to flee to another country as political refugees. Yet in the midst of all the turmoil, the Babe was celebrated by angels, the poorest workers in the land, and foreign wise men from a different religion. The beginnings of hope in a seemingly hopeless situation. "Peace on Earth, Goodwill to Humankind." Rejoice! Love is still occurring where we often least expect it.

When we planned our photoshooting it was a really windy and rainy time. (We also moved our first appointment because of the rain). While we were shooting in Münster (normally we planned to go to a meadow) it started to rain, so I decided to put her into my car and do some shots. :)
What do you think?
(I tried this also in the past with my boyfriend, but with a male it looked kind of awkward :D)
