A rainforest is an area of tall, mostly evergreen trees and a high amount of rainfall. Rainforests are Earth’s oldest living ecosystems, with some surviving in their present form for at least 70 million years. They are incredibly diverse and complex, home to more than half of the world’s plant and animal species—even though they cover just 6% of Earth’s surface. This makes rainforests astoundingly dense with flora and fauna. Rainforests’ rich biodiversity is incredibly important to our well-being and the well-being of our planet.
In the recently held vintage car rally in Delhi, all the cars participating were shown at Red Fort. This beauty, a 1936 old-timer Bentley 3.5 ltr. 2-door Vintage Sports Saloon full-size luxury car, when I saw I totally fell in love with it. It looked grand and amazingly stunning. To justify its grandeur I had to do some manipulation to the image. Putting a new background and removing reflections on the car. And how these little changes have made the subject stand-out and look its best!

There is a large collection of "summer homes" in Newport, Rhode Island. The Breakers was built in 1895 for the Vanderbilt family. It is a 70 room, 125,339 square foot mansion. Guided tour was very interesting. Grabbed a close-up shot of a portion of one chandelier.

Ulmus glabra, the wych elm or Scots elm, has the widest range of the European elm species, from Ireland eastwards to the Urals, and from the Arctic Circle south to the mountains of the Peloponnese in Greece; it is also found in Iran.
The wych elm is moderately shade-tolerant, but requires deep, rich soils as typically found along river valleys. The species is intolerant of acid soils and flooding, as it is of prolonged drought. Although rarely used as a street tree owing to its shape, it can be surprisingly tolerant of urban air pollution, constricted growing conditions, and severe pollarding.
The elm is a widespread tree in Europe, Asia, and North America. It belongs to the Ulmaceae genus and is popular for wood production.
🍀But in the old days, the elm was considered sacred. For ancient Druid priests, the elm was associated with the Goddess, therefore representing the divine feminine. In Heraldic symbolism, the figure of the elm was used to represent friendship, protection, support, romantic love, and the love among all people.
