Seeking out a couple of round barns this fall.

Don't know when I'm going to have a chance to work on more pictures so I'm posting this set of 21 captures at one time. Please take the time to look back In my photo stream at the whole set. These were taken on our trip back from Postville the day after the new year. I'm also introducing my round barn project. I will make it priority to seek out round and octal barns in our travels. Look forward to many more. This set contains one octal barn over by West Union Ia. I've also captured 5 more this past fall. Enjoy.

Needing to get back to some Iowa art. Several years ago we did the western side of the state. Lots of barns, old windmills and hills from the Loess Hills area along the western border of the state. I haven't processed any of these (about 900/6000 keepers). Though I'd start mixing these in to breakup the Arkansas shots. Enjoy the Loess Hills.

Tree in the intersection. An original Iowa Round-About. There are 3 gravels and one dirt road that meet at this large cottonwood growing in the middle of the intersection. Just remeber in Iowa if your flying down a gravel road and there appers to be a tree in the middle of the road. It may not be the usual illusion, please slow up, there may just be a Tree You'r in my Way moment.
