Not much of a Blogger, but I will work on that.

I will say that the pushup boobs is a BoM addon, and the dress is called Valentina. Both the addon and dress are from Nerido. When you buy the dress it comes with the pushup size.

Walking towards us in the evening, she was looking out for her wild friends who were always curious about her, they watched from the outskirts of the trees ...sometimes she joined them, sometimes she ignored them and walked towards us..the humans, but the wild ones never came a step closer, they remained at a distance always observing her boldness!

In North America, we have three warbles with ladies' names. This is Lucy's warble but should really be named Plain Jane's warbler.

Virgina's warbler and Grace's warbler are the other two.

My friend: Jesse inspired me to start collecting half dolls

They are so beautiful and I decided to learn more about them. That's how I came across several half-dolls on Flickr, including those belonging to friends of Jesse's who were also inspired by him, and I became more and more enthusiastic.

I gave in to my passion and now have several half-dolls.

Lucy wishes you a nice week. Thanks for your visits, faves, and comments.

Lucy looking very happy during a walk recently with her brother Oski and my neighbour's guide dog Peach, also a Retriever.

In the park we met a woman with two Retrievers of her own, Rosie and Florrie and walked with them all together for a while through town, a Retriever party , each a different shade ranging from off white through different golden shades.

Catalina Foothills. With cactus bokeh.

This also was from a neighborhood walk from our Airbnb. We had some large mesquite trees in the neighborhood and around our place as well. We had another Lucy's that was singing from our yard throughout our stay. Lucy's do like mature mesquite trees.

It is instructive to compare this plumage with the Virginia's warbler from a few posts ago. This Lucy's image doesn't show the rufous over tail coverts (found in Lucy's given adequate views) which is another plumage differentiator between the two. Virginia's has yellow in both the over tail and under tail coverts. They both may show rufous in the crown. Both have a pointed beak and are gray dorsally and whitish below. The Lucy's has some buff on the chest and never the yellow on the chest that the Virginia's has.

we met Lucy when we stayed on a farm outside Addo national park, she was hand reared as a baby by the owners of the farm when they discovered her next to her dead mother. Every day she visited us to greet and loved to rest her head on the railings of our upstairs balcony while we ate breakfast outdoors...

Lucy loves to sit on the bed.

The Lucy's Warbler is a resident of the US desert Southwest. They can be found in Arizona, southeast California, and the very southwestern corner of Utah where I found this bird and a few of its friends.

I had photographed this species poorly in Arizona a few years ago, so I targeted it again this summer in hopes of doing better. Turns out that my first attempts were a challenge because the Lucy's is a busy feeder in the morning. They don't spend much time chilling out.

Attentive viewers of the shots I post will notice I favor a calm pose that gives the appearance that I happened upon the bird as it was enjoying a few moments of repose. The truth as bird photographers know is that we must fire rapidly at a bird hoping one of the 1/10th of a second shots will give the illusion of repose.

In any burst of shots we will find our birds with silly expressions or positioning themselves in contorted positions simply because they are always moving.

On the morning I was trying to get a shot I liked, these birds were simply doing everything other than chilling out. While I did get a few shots with moderately calm poses, I thought I would post this one because...what the heck is he doing?

“Lucy, a girl's name for Lucifer. That my mother would have found me devil-like did not surprise me, for I often thought of her as god-like, and are not the children of gods devils? I did not grow to like the name Lucy-I would have much preferred to be called Lucifer outright-but whenever I saw my name I always reached out to give it a strong embrace.”

Happiest when she's running! Using the Nikon D300 and the 70-300mm lens I was able, at last, to get a half decent shot of Lucy running. Focus still not perfect, but better than with the G1.

Lucy the Elephant is a six-story elephant-shaped wood frame and tin clad building, constructed in 1882 by James V. Lafferty in Margate City, New Jersey. Lucy was built with the purpose of promoting real estate sales and attracting tourists to the area. Today, Lucy remains the oldest surviving roadside tourist attraction in America.

When Lucy was built, Margate City was the southern end of Atlantic City NJ in an undeveloped area without buildings or even roads. Access to the area was by boat only and the elephant was the only thing you would see as you sailed up the coast. For a sense of scale, see the children lined up at the bottom for a class photo.

Sorry I've been a bit out of touch. We lost Lucy yesterday after almost 18 years. She was a beauty and a very faithful friend. What a difference a pet makes in our lives.

Meet Lucy.....We struggled for many years about getting a new dog after having to put down our last Lab. His loss was almost unbearable. A friend told me he knew someone selling Lab puppies and had 1 left so I decided to just go look. It was love at first site....for both of us.
