The Spaniards Inn is a historic pub on Spaniards Road between Hampstead and Highgate in London, England. It lies on the edge of Hampstead Heath near Kenwood House. It is a Grade II listed building, dating back to the 17th century.
What I love & makes me so proud about this photograph is the beautiful inclusivity & diverse multiculturalism all at the bottom of my street. A working class South East London street, an Irish pub & beautiful children.
Nothing is perfect & there is still a very long way to go but if a little corner of SE18 can show it & embrace it there is hope & positivity for the future.

Chatsworth Laundrette was a former pub called the 'Chatsworth Arms' during the Victorian era (from 1881), which then became an off-licence (in 1939), and later became a laundrette from the 1960s onwards. To read about the social history of this building click the link below..
