Za hustého sněžení a mlhy vyjíždí žralok Lolek z Moldavy, a vydává se na svou cestu do Ústí.

ET21-456 hat den Kesselwagenzug im Abschnitt Stróże - Gorlice Zagórzany nachgeschoben und wird in Kürze Lz nach Stróże zurückfahren.
Rechts sind die Tische der Bahnhofsgaststätte „Restauracja Stary Dworzec” zu sehen.
Während des kurzen Aufenthalts zum Anfertigen der Bilder roch es doch sehr lecker aus der Küche. Leider hatten wir wegen der weiteren Verfolgung des Kesselwagenzuges keine Zeit, die Speisen zu verkosten.

Jesień, oprócz krótszego dnia, przynosi nam też pełną paletę barw liści na drzewach. Taki stan rzeczy powoduje że szlak między Herbami Starymi a Blachownią na linii 61, jest przeze mnie chętnie odwiedzany tą porą roku. Na zdjęciu, najstarszy egzemplarz jamnika ze składem węglarek wypełnionych złomem przemierza wyżej wymieniony odcinek kierując się w stronę Częstochowy.

Chemis, a Czech street artist with Kazakh roots, has created a new mural in Prague 4 featuring a girl taking shelter under a Ukrainian flag.
The touching graffiti can be found on Mojmírova Street in the district of Nusle.
It depicts a Ukrainian girl who protects her favorite characters: the German bee Maya, the Czech Mole, the Polish Lölek and Bolek, the Finnish Moomintroll, the French Obelix, the American Mickey Mouse, the British Gromit. As conceived by the author, this plot symbolizes current events - Ukraine protects the rest of Europe.
Its author is one of the best Czech street art artists, Dmitry Proshkin. He's better known under the pseudonym Chemis.
"Ukraine is now fighting not only for its own but also for our freedom. As a father of two children, I cannot imagine the helplessness, pain, and fear that ordinary people experience. All of us saw photos of breathless bodies and destroyed cities and also sports halls of schools, full of women with children, grandparents. Please do not stop helping and showing the values of our society", said the 36-year-old artist.

Unit EN71-001, hauling train R 43606 "Bolek i Lolek" from Bielsko-Biała to Kraków, is entering Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. This is the oldest unit in the EN71 series and sports a historic blue-and-yellow livery. Built in 1976, it is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

EN71-001 z pociągiem R 43606 "Bolek i Lolek" z Bielska-Białej do Krakowa wjeżdża do Kalwarii Zebrzydowskiej. Maszyna jest najstarszą jednostką serii EN71, która dodatkowo nosi historyczne niebiesko-żółte malowanie. Powstała w 1976 roku, więc w tym roku obchodzi 50 urodziny.

EN71-001, a Małopolska rarity painted in retro yellow and blue, retired from service two days ago. It was painted this way during the last P4 repair in Mińsk Mazowiecki in April 2024. "Góral," as the EN71 units are nicknamed, operated at the Małopolska Polregio Section and visited numerous corners of the region, such as Krynica-Zdrój, Zakopane, and Kielce. EN71-001 is rumored to have a chance of returning to service, but as a historical vehicle operating special trains. Time will tell if this will happen.
At the photo EN71-001 is leaving Kalwaria Zebrzydowska with train R 34607 "Bolek i Lolek" Kraków - Bielsko-Biała. At the time, replacement buses were operating on the Kęty - Bielsko-Biała section.

2 dni temu służbę zakończył EN71-001, czyli małopolski rodzynek pomalowany w zółto-niebieskie barwy retro. Maszyna została tak ubarwiona podczas ostatniej naprawy P4 w Mińsku Mazowieckim w kwietniu 2024 roku. "Góral", bo tak nawywane są jednostki EN71, jeździł w Małopolskim Zakładzie Polregio i odwiedził liczne zakątki regionu jak Krynica-Zdrój, Zakopane, czy Kielce. EN71-001 podobno ma szansę wrócić do ruchu, ale jako pojazd historyczny obługujący pociąg specjalne. Czas pokaże czy tak się stanie.

25.07.2026 - Pociąg 34609 (K52) BOLEK I LOLEK relacji Kraków Główny - Bielsko-Biała Główna zbliża się do p.o. Chocznia Górna.
W rejonie przystanku kolejowego Kraków Opatkowice, pociąg regio do Bielska-Białej. Niebawem rok minie od zakończenia remontu tytułowej jednostki, w trakcie którego odzyskała pierwotne malowanie. Jako widać, nieco się zdążyła przybrudzić, kilka razy padła też ofiarą wandali z farbą w spreyu, na szczęście za każdym razem w krótkim czasie była czyszczona.

Ilość czynnych egzemplarzy lokomotyw ET41 spada z każdym rokiem. W ostatnich tygodniach kilka kolejnych pojazdów zostało fizycznie zlikwidowanych w Poraju. Na szlakach kolejowych w okolicy Poznania osobiście popularnego jamnika spotkałem w 2024r. i odnoszę wrażenie, że dość ciężko jest je spotkać. Niemniej jednak podczas ostatniej mojej wizyty na magistrali węglowej jednego dnia sfotografowałem aż 3 czynne maszyny.
Na zdjęciu jeden ze złapanych pojazdów prowadzący skład węglarek wypełnionych węglem. Pociąg na zdjęciu zbliżał się do tarczy ostrzegawczej stacji Karczyn jadąc w kierunku Inowrocławia.

The number of use ET41 locomotives is falling year on year. In recent weeks, several more have been scrapped in Poraj. I personally came across one of these popular ‘jamnik’ on the railway lines around Poznań in 2024 and I get the impression that they’re quite hard to spot. Nevertheless during my last visit to the coal main line, I managed to photograph as many as three working locomotives in a single day.
The photograph shows one of the locomotives I captured, hauling a consist of coal wagons filled with coal. The train in the photograph was approaching the warning sign to Karczyn station, travelling towards Inowrocław.

Doba, kdy na šluknovském výběžku vládli žraloci! 😁
Ještě před příchodem jednotek Desiro patřila tahle trať „žralokům“ řady 844.
Jeden z nich "Lolek" se mi podařil zachytit za stanicí Rumburk u rozvětvení tratě 081 a 084.

Elektrowóz ET41, popularnie zwany jamnikiem, łamańcem czy Bolkiem i Lolkiem, to nic innego jak połączone dwie EU07. Egzemplarz ze zdjęcia, po modernizacji i naprawie głównej poziomu piątego w 2018 roku otrzymał historyczne barwy, nawiązujące do epoki gdzie dla bezpieczeństwa lokomotywy miały malowane czoła na kolor żółty.

The ET41 electric locomotive, popularly known as the dachshund, goffer or Bolek and Lolek, is nothing more than two EU07 connected. The copy in the photo, after the modernization and major repair of the fifth tier in 2018, received historical colors, referring to the era when, for safety reasons, the locomotives had their foreheads painted yellow.
Zwischen dem Abzweig Sosnowiec Dorota und dem Bahnhof Sosnowiec Maczki befindet sich eines der Bergschadensgebiete im oberschlesischen Kohlerevier.
ET41-100 ist gerade mit einem E-Wagenzug auf dem zweigleisigen Abschnitt zwischen den beiden Betriebsstellen unterwegs. Unter der Kastenbrücke im Hintergrund befindet sich der große Absatz hinab in die Senke.
Das linke Gleis führt vom Abzweig Sosnowiec Dorota kommend den Damm hinauf in Richtung Sosnowiec Jęzor. Das Gleis rechts führt um einen entstandenen See herum von Sosnowiec Maczki zum Euroterminal Sławków, dem westlichen Endpunkt und Umschlagterminal der breitspurigen LHS.
Die Gleise senken sich in diesem Bereich allmählich ab, so daß kurz vor der Aufnahme wieder etwas nachgebessert wurde. Die sich ebenfalls senkenden Fahrleitungsmasten werden einfach nur aufgestockt. Um ein Brechen der Schienen zu verhindern, sind diese nicht verschweißt, sondern in kurzen Abständen verlascht.
Links und hinter dem Damm nicht sichtbar, erstreckt sich ein weiterer See, in dem ein Mast der 220kV-Leitung steht. Da die Senkunken seit Jahren anhalten, nähern sich die Stromleitungen allmählich bedrohlich der Fahrleitung.

Giovanni Paolo II, Karol Woytila, è stato un papa universale, forse il più universale di tutti, quello che ha compreso per primo la grade forza della comunicazione e della presenza fisica del Pontefice nel mondo.
Tra le sue iniziative più importanti, va senz’altro ascritto il tentativo di riconciliare il più possibile il mondo cattolico con quello ebreo. La sua determinazione in questo senso nasce dall’infanzia, quando a Wadowice conobbe Jerzy Kluger, un ragazzino ebreo che viveva lì e con il quale ha frequentato la scuola nella stessa classe. L’amicizia tra Kluger e Woytila è proseguita negli anni e si è rafforzata nelle drammatiche vicende dell’Olocausto, quando la famiglia del primo amico ebreo dell’ex Pontefice è stata quasi interamente sterminata nei lager nazisti. Kluger ha lavorato per circa 20 anni come inviato non ufficiale di Papa Woytila in Israele nel tentativo di avvicinare i due mondi, raccontando in un libro scritto da Darcy O’Brien ( Il Papa nascosto) per “far conoscere di più il mondo degli ebrei all’Occidente”.
Jerzy Kluger è morto oggi (ieri) a Roma all’età di 90 anni. Da tempo soffriva di Alzheimer, e prima del ricovero al San Camillo, dove è morto a causa dei postumi di una bronchite, viveva in una casa di riposo. Le persone a lui vicine riferiscono che tra i pochi ricordi ancora vividi nella sua memoria c’erano quelli della sua amicizia con Karol, specialmente negli anni dell’infanzia, quando il futuro papa era per tutti “Lolek”, cioè “Carletto” mentre Kluger veniva chiamato Jurek ed i due giocavano anche a calcio nella stessa squadra ed il Papa giocava in porta.

Miś Uszatek (Floppy Bear, literally Teddy Floppy-ear) is a Polish character from the stop motion-animated TV series of the same name. He was created jointly by Polish writer Czesław Janczarski and cartoonist Zbigniew Rychlicki.

Miś Uszatek's first appearance was in a Polish comic magazine for children, "Miś", on 6 March 1957. Later, he was the main character of several children's books, which were translated into many languages. However, it became very popular in 1975, when Łódź' Animated Forms Studio (Studio Malych Form Filmowych), Se-ma-for, created a series of cartoons for the Polish TV network, featuring actor Mieczysław Czechowicz, who voiced the characters. In all-time Polish ranks of animated programs, it usually comes second only to Bolek i Lolek.
Miś Uszatek and his friends - Prosiaczek (Piglet), Króliczki (Little Rabbits) and Zajączek (Little Hare), as well as Kruczek the Puppy - were loved by pre-teen kids. At the same time, Uszatek, a teddy bear, played the role of a friend from kindergarten. He was also liked by parents, as he would always go to bed at appropriate hour, singing the goodnight song:
“Pora na dobranoc, bo już księżyc świeci. Dzieci lubią misie, misie lubią dzieci. (It's time to go to bed, as the moon is shining. Kids like teddy bears, teddy bears like kids.)”
