Logo series by Randa Clay Design
Which one would you have chosen? Don't you hate it when the client doesn't pick the one you think is the best?
This is a base idea for a Missionary and his family who work out of Africa, doing 'good' things.
This is a logo for his 'endeavours' and wanted to reflect the african heritage as such without being cliche.
THE MEANINGS
I came up with this idea, having these initials was 'useful'. :) Bascially, the initials form the rough profile of a African man/tribe/warrior etc, but ofcourse made up from the Z and S initials.
trying to get the right balance was proving tricky as for me, the first idea i wanted people to see was the 'nose/eyes' profile, then hopefully/possibly catch on that it's made from the initials.
Its pretty rought around the edges in terms of font use etc, its just the basic idea at the moment, minus any perfecting tweaks etc. The gradient is not part of the logo.
Just wondered what your thoughts are on this, any areas for improvement?

Ogilvie Acquisitions is a company that purchases receivable from financial institutions and major department stores. The order stated the logo needs to imply a return greater than the investment. The logo does just that with a thin descending stripe evolving into 2 large ascending ones. The sheet underneath conveys the idea of a graphic, and the whole implies a small investment with great profits following it.
