Disney figurOf the two, Chip is portrayed as being safe, focused, and having a mind for logical scheming. Dale, by contrast, is more laid-back, dim-witted, and impulsive, and has a very strong sense of humor. Originally the two had a very similar appearance, but as a way to tell them apart, some differences were introduced: Chip has a small black nose and two centered protruding teeth, whereas Dale has a large dark red nose and a prominent gap between his buckteeth. Chip is also depicted as having smooth hair on top of his head while Dale's tends to be ruffled.en

Thanks for the visit ..... have a nice day :-)
The color of happiness and optimism. Yellow is a cheerful and energetic color that brings fun and joy to the world. It makes learning easier as it affects the logical part of the brain, stimulating mentality and perception. It inspires thought and curiosity and boosts enthusiasm and confidence.
Well you certainly do not see these beauties in my garden.
I saw them in the little butterfly house at the rather splendid Hortus Botanicus which is a surprisingly rich and varied garden in the centre of Amsterdam.
I have mixed feelings about taking photographs of animals in captivity though I guess it feels less improper to imprison a butterfly than it does a Lion. Not a logical position I know…….
THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT AND FOR TAKING THE TIME TO WRITE A COMMENT IT’S MUCH APPRECIATED.

Cuando era joven,
La vida me parecía maravillosa,
Un milagro, era hermosa, mágica.
Y todos los pájaros en los árboles
Cantaban tan felizmente
Con alegría y juguetones, me miraban.
Pero luego, me mandaron fuera
Para aprender a ser sensato,
Lógico, responsable, práctico.
Me enseñaron un mundo
Donde podía mostrarme digno de confianza,
clínico, intelectual, cínico...♪ ♫
A logical next step to give this Iris-Kusudama (see frist comment box) even more 'flower power' is to fold another 12 irises, this time from a different paper and place them in the previous one. The first 'flower' then turns into a calyx. You could do another 'flower layer', but I'll stop here.
I also did not curl the petals, but folded just one more iris (actually two), for the curled version ;-))
Final diameter is 18cm.
Final size of the curled Iris is 8,5cm height.
Model: traditional origami iris / lily
Paper used: 15x15cm, Freudenberger paper, purple and with a purple motive
Wishing everyone a happy start of this weekend! I will be visiting some friends, so I'm off. See you next week ;-))
The grown "tail" of the dutch Wadden island of Ameland is called "The Hon".
It is an immense sand plain of 4 km2 and is completely flooded during heavy Northwestern stroms in combination with spring tides.
A crumbly row of young dunes is like a spine with vertibrae of varying size from the Wadden Sea to the North sea and it is logical that these youn dunes are not reliable as the old dunes more inland.
Hardly anyone comes to this surreally beautiful part of Ameland far away from civilisation, so that you can listen to the natural elements of wind and water....
Hello my amazing friends !
I hate Mondays… However, we have to start a new week and Monday seems like a very logical choice. Today we have Mr. Severed Hand with a red band aid on his finger… I will need a red band aid, for sure, to make it through this day. Lets hope it will turn out to be na awesome day ! Happy Monday to everyone !
Mucho, mucho amor for you all !!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well.
“Zen wants us to acquire an entirely new point of view whereby to look into the mysteries of life and the secrets of nature. Happy Tuesday ;-)
Life is what happens when you have other plans. In the mind, everything is usually quite clear, logical and well planned.
Like my plan from yesterday to post the rest of my vacation pics this week. Or my rule of not showing the same motif so often in a row so that you don't get bored.
And then last night I read the quote that you can find in the title and as I wonder if I know that feeling, I see this image in an instant. And I feel how much this place on mt. Winterberg in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains puts me in this special state. A state of complete calm and inner contentment. I've only visited a few places where I'm as connected to myself as I am here. That's why I'm always drawn back here.
And within a second it was over with rules and plans and I knew. I have to.....
I counted. I have already photographed this motif 10 times in every season, but always at sunrise. And while the composition is nearly identical each time, each version is unique. And I love each and every one of them (so there will probably be a few more to come).

Autumn landscape (Mount Baldo Range) 20211102
Monte Baldo’s importance as ‘The Garden of Europe’ was known as early as the 16th century when botanist Francesco Calzolari recorded hundreds of species and their precise locations in his book “Viaggio di Mont Baldo”. A more recent study carried out by the City Museum of Rovereto recorded 1952 plant species. This is equal to 43% of the entire Alps flora which covers an area more than 500 times larger.
The awesome geology and nature make Monte Baldo a logical place to visit for anyone with an interest in the great outdoors and is a great destination for several outdoor sports.

"When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful
A miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical
And all the birds in the trees, well they'd be singing so happily
Oh joyfully, playfully watching me
But then they send me away to teach me how to be sensible
Logical, oh responsible, practical
And they showed me a world where I could be so dependable
Oh clinical, oh intellectual, cynical!"

My honey :)
I love to express my feelings to you even if my face gets blushy because you are the most special person in my life, in fact, you are my life.
I love you with a power that is beyond anything there is a logical, and only YOU are who knows the sound of my heart from the inside.

Taking romance to its logical conclusion :-)
The bride dispensed with traditional wedding cake, however, and served cheese and chocolates instead~! (Below) So original and pretty, I thought.

Many thanks to Ellenvd and Dyrk Wyst for their wonderful textures.
The rectory and the church of Shipton Moyne are very close to each other, which is only logical: the rector (or the vicar) only has to walk a short distance to reach his 'workplace': the church.
I found the house quite impressive and the garden very beautiful - as most gardens in Shipton Moyne! I assume the huge tree is a Cedar.

Part 13 of new experiments with "running out of focus". As you can see, the tendence is going more and more the direction of abstract design. A logical result of my temporary experiments...

La Sagrada Família is a sample of the artistic fullness of Gaudí.
The Catalan architect achieved a perfect harmony in the interrelation between the structural and ornamental elements, in such a way that all the arts were integrated into a structured and logical set.
The work done by Gaudí, that is, the crypt, the apse and the facade of the Birth, were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2005. It is the most visited monument in Spain.
With the Enchantment Event going on is it off course 'that' theme of Peter Pan that will pop up on my stream the days to come. Many Tinkerbells I've seen so it's only logical that my Peter Pan is just covered in fairy dust and what do we need when we want to fly?? Happy Thoughts!!!

“ice contains no future , just the past, sealed away. As if they're alive, everything in the world is sealed up inside, clear and distinct. Ice can preserve all kinds of things that way- cleanly, clearly. That's the essence of ice, the role it plays.”
― Haruki Murakami
we have been living in a frozen wonderland the last few days, first lots of wind and snow , then freezing rain; the world entombed in thick ice, also very dark, no real light to photograph, but i walked around the garden until my fingers were so numb with cold i could not press the shutter.
i noticed the rhododendron's leaves were totally encased in ice, tried to break one off to bring it inside to photograph, but it broke in my hand, leaving me with this piece of the ice shell, a perfect imprint of the leaf, see the veins at the bottom right? best in the lightbox, amazing how nature builds abstracts :D there are all kinds of things to be seen in this small piece of ice.

When I took this image, I thought that the large round boulder on the trail below looked like a big chocolate truffle. It seemed kind of logical in this incredible landscape, but really I think I was hungry. :)
"She's real, she's deep, she's logical and mystical. She believes in kindness and oneness and romance and magic. She's sensitive and distant, a warrior, a lover. She believes in road trips to the stars and dancing with the universe. She's fearless and gentle, wondrous and brave. She lives in waterfalls and forests and sunsets and galaxies. She's the artist, the thinker, the poem, and the dream."

I remember that I had this vinyl album, I don't remember if they had given it to me or
it belonged to some brother among many:) At the time, I didn't have any translators, only the vocabulary of the English language. But who was going to translate? It was complicated and the lyrics of the songs weren't like "The pen is on the table". But the melody of this piece and the nostalgia it conveyed did not leave too many doubts. Some songs also speak without words...
This is a very interesting cover, in my opinion

This hippocampus is a mythical creature, a horse in front, a fish in the back and I found it in Hamburg in the Versmann-Haus, which was built from 1910 to 1912 as an office building with shops, a café and a restaurant.

Happy Sliders Sunday
About 80% of the population of Singapore live in flats, private or public. With land scarce, going up is the logical way to go, for both living and the dead.
I made it all winter without catching a cold. So why not go down to a lake after work, wearing a suit, in the pouring rain of a 45 degree Spring evening for a self-portrait? Perfectly logical to me.
What could be more logical than a photo of a busy honey bee on the first day of summer. Therefore - the plant is European dwarf elder (Sambucus ebulus) and of course a honey bee.

Semiahmoo Spit is a spit that protrudes from the westernmost expanse of shore on Semiahmoo Peninsula between Semiahmoo Bay and Drayton Harbor off the coast of Blaine in Whatcom County, Washington state. The spit is home to Semiahmoo Park
History
In 1858, prospectors came to the Semiahmoo area searching for the Fraser River. The spit seemed like a logical place to set up a post as a launching point for further exploration into the mainland. A trading post was soon established at the spit, and the owner drew up plans for Semiahmoo City. Semiahmoo was expected to become a migration boomtown, but it eventually developed into a fishing town, as the spit provided shelter for Drayton Harbor and an abundance of coastal resources. Whatcom County's first salmon cannery opened in 1881 in Semiahmoo; in 1891, the Alaska Packers Association was the largest salmon cannery in the world. Salmon canning was to be the main source of revenue in Semiahmoo until 1980, when the land was purchased by the land development corporation. Recently, a park with a small, seasonal interpretive center was built near the headland, and the Semiahmoo Resort and Golf Course was built near the spit.
Use of the spit by the Lummi Indian Nation, and current archaeological investigation
Because of its location, the spit provides access to countless resources that thrive in both the calm waters of Drayton Harbor, and the ocean currents through the Strait of Georgia. Historically, the Lummi Indian Nation used the spit for its natural resources; a major village was built on the spit. Today, shell midden is clearly visible in many places, on either side of the spit, as wave action has cut away at the shore, revealing historic artifacts.
