A lock in St. Augustine, Florida.

With the rest of the month predicted to be cloudy and rainy, I decided I had better not waste today's sunshine. I drove to Little Lake, hoping to see some spring water birds, but the wind was so strong that no birds were in sight. They are probly on a different shore or in a protected bay. The combination of wind and sunshine created lots of "diamonds" on the water in this photo I took at Lock 20.

Boats approach Lock #20 - Ashburnham

Standing right at the entrance to Lock 20 and looking straight down into the water where it laps up onto the entry gate, I was able to take this photo of coloured leaves afloat in water turned to froth.
