LoL photos on Flickr

I bought it on the market, years ago, it had a lovely photo of how it would become, no name though... shows again how deceptive photos can be, LOL. It is in fact tiny!

Anyway, it is very hardy, with insignificant small leaves, in late Spring... it grows insignificant little white flowers, mostly hidden under the leaves, in Summer it is ... just there?

Then comes Autumn, and the leaves turn on all the colours of the rainbow, for a few short weeks, two if your lucky with the weather, it becomes an ABSOLUTE focal point of attraction in the garden... pure GLORY... then it's gone again... till next year!

I visited South Lakes wild animal park yesterday with my fiancee. I dopped her off at 7:45am because I had bought her a present of zoo keeper for the day which she thoroughly enjoyed although she has found muscles that she did not know existed today...lol!! I went off to Coniston water (more of which later) and returned to the park at 10am. This male and female Sumatran tigers had just finished "holding hands" when the female underneath decided enough hand holding was enough!!

Boy these critters are all over the place out here where I live!! Sam called awhile ago on his way home and said come on...bring my camera as their right down the road. So we've been photographing these elk for the past hour. Boy there's quite a crowd when they show up!!! LOL...sure wish I could get closer!! lol...😄 They always go to the oddest places where you can't photograph them real well....I'm on a bridge here!😜

A heavy snow false alarm.

As usually happens in Japan for whatever atmospheric happening different from a gray or white-milk sky and 90% of humidity, any other 'grain of sand' in terms of meteo is blown out of proportion to a 'Mt. Everest'. Today it looked like we were about to face an 'End of Days'-like event, so I dressed full-gear to go shooting - expecting to see some pretty interesting and funny sceneries of clumsy metropolitan creatures coping with nature, but right after the second station, the white cascade was turning into rain, bringing us into a usual dull and gray Shinjuku, which, before a U-turn, has to offer us only an hamburger. lol
