My annual Christmas build is this decorated livingroom with Christmas trees and fire place.
It's also the continuation of my #brickrooms series that I began earlier this year. All techniques get displayed and explained on StoneWars.
(Text in German, but lots of pictures)
my living room is not longer set up like this as the merimekko print was despised by my boyfriend... but at least i'll always remember!
Same old room (really need to redo that fireplace section someday) but now with a few extra pictures on the wall - an assortment of travel posters covering some of my 1:1 jaunts.
"El Centenario" Museo de Historia de San Pedro, en donde se presenta una muestra de la "Casa San Petrina" al estilo de las antiguas casas de San Pedro, Nuevo León, (finales s XIX) en donde dominan los volúmenes rectangulares y las líneas rectas con los materiales propios de la región: varas, carrillo, barro, palma, adobe, sillar, cantera, piedra y troncos de madera.

Anderson french doors custom stained to match the chocolate bamboo floors. Minka Aire ceiling fan in oil rubbed bronze finish same as hardware on the doors. Gas burning glass firepit with caprise shell style chandelier in matching color. Low voltage recessed lights on remote dimmer switch.

Found in the same abandoned castle as the last 2 pictures. A former livingroom of the family that lived there. The logo of this family is everywhere in the ceiling, and tiles. Almost everything is handcrafted. These people must have had loads of money :)
