Franz Fuchs committed series of attacks with letter bombs between 1993 and 1996. It was racist motivated. My boss at that time was a Hungarian immigrant, so we were potential victims and we were aware of that. No such letter was sent to us and so our hands remained unharmed. But 4 people died and 15 were injured - permanent injuries, some very heavily injured, one lost both hands.
Zur Zeit der rassistisch motivierten Anschlagsserien des Franz Fuchs ( = BBA Bajuwarische Befreiungsarmee) war ich an einem Theater engagiert, dessen Direktor ein ungarischer Immigrant war, also ins Opferschema des Franz Fuchs paßte. Neben meinen Hauptaufgaben Regieassistenz, Licht und Ton, Inspizienz, Requisiten etc., mußte ich auch immer wieder im Büro aushelfen, hatte also auch mit der Korrespondenz zu tun. Wir erhielten keine Briefbombe, die Hände des Direktors, des Sekretärs und auch meine blieben unverletzt, Durch die Briefbomben wurden zum Teil nicht die Adressaten selber, sondern deren Mitarbeiter, zu deren Aufgabenbereich das Öffnen der Briefe gehört, verletzt - so zum Beispiel beim Brief an eine meiner Studienkolleginnen: Arabella Kiesbauer (dunkelhäutig, da ihr Vater Ghanaer ist): ihre Assistentin wurde verletzt als sie ihre Arbeit verrichtete und den Brief öffnete. Einige Briefe konnten auch abgefangen werden, so etwa der an Angela Resetarits, der Mutter von Willy Resetarits (Professor Kurt Ostbahn) adressierte. Daher auch der Musiklink oben. Insgesamt 4 Tote, 15 Verletzte, schwere Verletzungen, bleibende Verletzungen, einer verlor beide Hände.
Mein Mitgefühl gilt den Opfern, meine Dankbarkeit den Aufklärern der Tat, meine Hochachtung all jenen, die sich aktiv gegen Rassismus wenden, die sich aktiv gegen Intoleranz und Ignoranz, also gegen Anschauungen wie "some things and people count, most don`t" wenden.

There was a storm off to the right but the lightning strikes were sadly out of my field of view.
Purple Primroses in the Park
The afternoon sun briefly illuminated these beautiful purple primroses (Primula vulgaris) growing next to the sidewalk in the park. 🌸 It's so nice to see them, acting as proof that spring is finally here, even if the cold and unpredictable weather tries to tell us otherwise. Captured with my Canon R7 and RF 85mm ($f/4$, $1/320\text{ sec}$, $\text{ISO } 200$). Greetings from Germany! ✨
Purpurrote Primeln im Park
Das Nachmittagslicht beleuchtete kurz diese wunderschönen purpurroten Primeln, die neben dem Gehweg im Park wuchsen. 🌸 Es ist schön sie zu sehen, als würden sie sagen, dass der Frühling da ist, obwohl das kalte Wetter etwas anderes behauptet. Fotografiert mit der Canon R7 und dem RF 85mm ($f/4$, $1/320\text{ Sek.}$, $\text{ISO } 200$). Viele Grüße aus Baden-Württemberg!
Purpurni jaglaci u parku
Popodnevno sunce je na kratko obasjalo ove predivne purpurne jaglace (Primula vulgaris) koji su rasli pored nogostupa u parku u Reutlingenu. 🌸 Lipo ih je vidjeti, kao da govore da je proljeće tu, mada nam ovo hladno i prevrtljivo vrijeme govori drugačije. Uslikano s mojim Canon R7 i RF 85mm ($f/4$, $1/320\text{ sec}$, $\text{ISO } 200$). Pozdrav iz Baden-Württemberga! ✨
I don't know why that is, but I am fascinated by language. Especially those who aren't widely known and spoken. Maybe a side effect that my own native language is a strange dialect that no one outside really understands. This song is one of those I stumbled upon by accident. I knew the versions in English, but a few years ago I watched a documentary of an actress and there was a brief scene where she sang this song in Hawaiian and it just.. I loved it. And recently I found it on youtube, thanks internet 😘

A rainy night in Chinatown always feels like a film noir set. Mirror-wet narrow streets lit as if a stage gaffer got drunk on power and Mai Tai's.
Tonight was one of those nights so I took the camera and wandered Grant Street in the rain. LiPo Lounge recently restored their 70 year old neon with the help of the Office of Economic and Workforce Development / SF Shines program.

He and his friend Du Fu were the two hip cat, daddy-o's of Chinese poetry in the Tang dynasty, (618–907) which is often called the "Golden Age of Chinese Poetry"...
His namesake bar is in the Chinatown district of The City...
I wonder if he knew Fu Yu...I knew Fu Ling Yu...just saying...

This is my second ever steam locomotive MOC. I modeled this rare locomotive after a Davenport duplex rod / geared hybrid. This one was local to Arkansas and served the Doniphan, Kensett, and Searcy Railroad in White county circa 1913.
I've added BlueRail, LifeLites, a bluetooth speaker, BBB wheels, Trained Bricks rods, and an 11.1v LiPo battery. Trucks are both powered from one L motor.

I custom painted my VFC HK416! I'm going to change the fore-grip to a tango down style grip, but the funds evade me as of now XD
I upgraded the piston, but thats about all I've done to it internally. It's running off of a 11.1 lipo, and boi this thing is spicy!
