I finally installed wine and was able to play StarCraft Broodwars.

Wine is an application that runs programs designed for Windows from non-windows platforms like Linux and Apple. You can find out more about this FREE application at www.winehq.org/

I have always moved my taskbar to the top of the screen because that's where all of the window menus are conveniently located. I love how the developers of Ubuntu thought of details like that.
