For reasons I don't understand, I am practically awash in male jade clubtails...and not a lovely lady in sight. One would think that if there are guys, there will be girls, but I seem to have stumbled upon the odonate equivalent of a Linux Users Group convention. I interrupted this guy's breakfast, and I was somewhat surprised to see that he wasn't having Cheetos and Mountain Dew as he recompiled the kernel. :)

My first distro, it's a 3CD boxed version. I bought it back in 2001 and thus started my journey with GNU/Linux. It was an important turning point of my IT career. I knew that there were open source and free *NIX operating systems besides Micro$oft Windows. It has been almost 8 years!

My First Computer, or rather, first computer that was fully mine. I remember upgrading from a 486SX25 to a 486DX266 and spending ~$400 to bump the 4MB of ram to a whopping 12MB. It had a 164MB harddrive and 256k of video ram. I never did lay down the cache to upgrade the video SRAM to the full 512k. It primarily acted as a light weight webserver.
