Was cleaning my basement and found out I had almost every Linux Journal dating back to 2000. Only missing 4 or 5 issues.
Low Tech Twitter implemented with old-style dot-matrix printer mechanics (the wind-on/paper feed part) and fanfold paper pre-printed with boxes for your twitters. Pen hanging by a string, you write your comment in and wind the handle to move it on for the next person!
Someone has transcribed these and they should be appearing/already be on the lugradio.org/live website.
This was taken fairly early on in the day, after/during the first talk I believe when I was exploring the venue.
PS - manual collage from several pics; I know I could have let the gimp/relevant plugin have a go but it was about practice/learning the tools. So the perspective/scaling correction is a bit off 'cos I didn't want to spend hours and hours getting it perfect.

I am very pleased because i've just got my netbook exactly the way i want it. No more dummy interface; i have a proper menu button and desktop with wallpaper and icons.
I followed the instructions on this forum thread but came up with difficulties: the home button didn't work and nor did the PrtSc button.
I found out how to use xhkconf to map the buttons to the right commands, and hence, i had to take a screenshot in celebration! :)
