Day 101, April 11, 2011's photo of the day
Today has been a tech day - as the last several days have been. Installed Ubuntu Linux on an insanely inexpensive Toshiba netbook, wiping Windows 7 Starter [i spent just under 6 minutes in the windows 7 world today, thereby doubling my exposure to any Windows OS newer than XP; Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 are without a doubt, the best and most stable of the modern Windows world - NT 3.51 has that honor for the classic Windows users out there].
Anyway, 6 minutes till midnight. I need to post this and get back to work. Busy evening ahead!

My old home server which survived a move, two different ISPs and a variety of other things stopped running on Friday 15 August 2008. The best I can figure it was installed about 14 October 2004. It was still running Fedora Core 2.
The fan stopped, and the clips that held it to the heat sink melted away.
