Near Independence Pass, the trailhead to Linkins Lake is a classic Rocky Mountain scene. Geissler Mountain is in the background on the left, the Roaring Fork River is on the right. The trail starts at 11,506' (3507 m).,which was above my comfort level for a strenuous hike at the beginning of our trip to Colorado.

My best friend Stefanie won tickets (from Kiss 95.1) to see Linkin Park. As a finalist for tickets, she was also chosen to interview the band. The Warner Brothers promotions chick took this shot of us just after the interview with Brad.

I have a Linkin Park curse -- last time I shot them at Projekt Revolution last year my camera totally died on me after about 35 shots (one of which is actually one of my fave shots) and had to be sent to Canon for resuscitation...this year, we were in the pit and a last minute decision was made to give us only one song, without any warning. It worked out okay, and I came out with decent shots, but it gave me no chance to move around and get wide shots, etc. But what can ya do?

Oh noes! I think I've been spotted! Security came over shortly after this shot and told me to put the camera away.
Another stealth shot, trying to capture the whole band but they kept moving around and people were walking in front of us.
The band kept moving around and security was approaching to let me know I wasn't allowed to take pics. :)
We're pet-sitting the neighbor's dogs this weekend. Linkin absolutely LOVES their Lab Rocky. They have seriously been playing for almost 24 hours straight. They took a break to sleep last night only because I forced them to.
I had so much fun taking pictures of them. I swear they didn't stop smiling...

The main reason why I went to the F1 Singapore Grand Prix is to watch my favorite band perform live. :)
I did not have the good spot unlike the Charice and Shakira concert . A lot of hands/heads/ camera were blocking my view. So to get some decent shots, I used the live view and raised my camera.
This is SOOC, D7000 never fails to deliver!
