Hundred islands , Philippines
Part 4 of the serie of the hundred islands.
One of our main trips in the Philippines was to the hundred islands in the island of Luzon.
It is a national park and a major tourist spot.
The islands, totaling 124 at low tide and 123 at high tide, are scattered in Lingayen Gulf. Only three of them have been developed for tourism: Governor Island, Quezon Island, and Children's Island.
The islands are believed to be about two million years old
The location is in Pangasinan in Luzon and the nearest city is Alaminos.
We have had a great time here, a beautiful view, good food and friendly people.
The beautiful small beaches, the tropical views, the many fish will always be remembered as one of the highlights in our life.
We choose Philippines.

I was lucky to meet the beautiful light as the sun disappeared over the horizon and as my tripod was sinking gradually into the sand. This image was shot on an isolated island off the shores of Alaminos, Pangasinan, Philippines during my recent camping trip with my family.

I missed the blue hour but shooting should not stop as I had no chance for another tomorrow. We can only stay as much as a little more minutes. And that means, |no turning back| when we head back to our base in Mangatarem.

Pangasinan, officially the Province of Pangasinan is a coastal province in the Philippines located in the Ilocos Region of Luzon. Its capital is Lingayen.
This is another view of Hundred Islands that I took using my SLR last October 8, 2022.
HUNDRED ISLANDS, PANGASINAN (excerpt from guidetothephilippines.ph/destinations-and-attractions/hun...)
The Hundred Islands National Park of Alaminos City is a protected area in Pangasinan that comprises 124 islands spread out along the Lingayen Gulf. It is also known as “Kapulo-puloan” or “Taytay-Bakes." Four of these islands have already been developed to attract more tourists: Governors Island, Quezon Island, Marcos Island, and Children’s Island.
While four of the 124 islands are developed, the rest are left untouched and uninhabited. The islands are spread out on a 1,844-hectare land area. It is believed that they date back to two million years ago and that they are part of the seabed.

Chanced upon this farmer on my way to my father's house in Lingayen, Pangasinan, Philippines. I just arrived. The image is not of the best quality, it's out of focus. I was in a car at 90KPH but in any case, I like it. I thought I might share.
BTW, My D80 is having a problem. I think the lens contact got burned, It won't auto focus. I have no idea what caused it. Do you?

If I were given the chance to shoot in good weather all day long, my shooting regimen would have been: to wake-up early to meet the colors of the breaking dawn then shoot Infrared under the harsh light of the high noon sun and most of all, shoot the sunset before the magical hour occurs. Here's one fiery sunset I managed to capture off mainland Pangasinan, Philippines.
