Marina Bay is a bay near Central Area in the southern part of Singapore, and lies to the east of the Downtown Core. Marina Bay is set to be a 24/7 destination with endless opportunities for people to “explore new living and lifestyle options, exchange new ideas and information for business, and be entertained by rich leisure and cultural experiences”.[1] It is here where the most innovative facilities and infrastructure such as the underground “common services tunnel” are built and where mega activities take place.[2]

Slavko Linić rođen je 1949. godine na Grobniku (Čavle). Oženjen je. Diplomirao je na Ekonomskom fakultetu u Rijeci 1972. godine. Član je SDP-a od 1990. godine. Zastupnik u Hrvatskom saboru bio je od 1997. do 2000. te od 2004. do 2011. Bio je na čelu Odbora za pomorstvo, promet i veze te Odbora za prostorno uređenje i zaštitu okoliša, a bio je i član Odbora za turizam, Odbora za pomorstvo, promet i veze i Odbora za prostorno uređenje i graditeljstvo. Od 2000. do 2003. godine obnašao je dužnost potpredsjednika Vlade Republike Hrvatske. Od 1990. do 2000. bio je gradonačelnik Rijeke. Govori engleski jezik, a hobi mu je skijanje.

April 18, 2012 marks the 70th Anniversary of the Doolittle Raid...the "30 Seconds Over Tokyo" raid led by Lt. Col. Jimmy Doolittle when 16 B-25 medium bombers launched from the carrier USS Hornet and attacked targets in Japan.
In a tribute to the five surviving Doolittle Raiders...and to the memory of the other 75...20 B-25's gathered at Grimes Field in Urbana, OH. On the morning of April 17, 2012; the bombers launched from Grimes in 90 second intervals for the short trip down to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and the National Museum of the Air Force.
Activities will continue for the remainder of the week...including a Memorial Flight featuring a mass formation of the B-25's.
This view of the bomber lineup at Wright-Pat AFB was shot from a set of air-stairs...there was a set at either end of the flight line and photographers had only to wait a few minutes on line to climb the stairs and capture a view like this one.

American Five-lined Skink (a.k.a. Red-headed Skink, Blue-tailed Skink (for juveniles), Eastern Red-headed Skink; Plestiodon fasciatus) - Great Falls National Park, Virginia
I found this guy hunting worms, and ants on the rocky shores of the Potomac River.
It also tried to sneak up on a Red Admiral butterfly, but the Red Admiral easily eluded the Skink.
