Definitely Dreaming - Favourite things - chocolate, especially Lindor truffles
We had a very busy but wonderful family Christmas day. This backdrop is one of my presents and the chocolates were another.

My daughter Brianne received a bag of these for her birthday and while we love Lindt Truffles, these are nobodies favorite. They are so, so sweet, perhaps too sweet, but they do taste like birthday cake with plenty of icing!
Finally starting to wrap up the bathroom project at last and all the tile work and wood prep is finished. I was expecting the vanity hardware this week but nothing so far. Today the toilet goes back in place! I'll be sure to post a pic when it gets finished completely. I also received some bad news yesterday, our 20 year old tractor went to the shop yesterday and now today I'm also shopping for a new tractor!

Closeup of some Lindor milk chocolate truffles. They are posed on a mirror on a black background. The bright light is a reflection of an overhead light , and I liked the effect on the composition so I left it on.
I love Lindor although a box can last me a long time, as I eat just one very slowly every now and then. One of my cats loves the wrappers to play with and he wishes I'd eat more - HSoS!

It wasn't difficult to tilt the camera, but more so to find something that the Dutch Angle had a purpose for. My first choice was to take pictures of loose beads, but they looked like they were rolling off the page.

sweets and chocolate seem to be hard to resist for me these days.
When I was younger I didnt have a sweet tooth but I definitely do now.
I gave up drinking alcohol a year ago and a further increase in my sweet-toothness seems to be an adverse consequence of that otherwise positive change.
So I have decided that I am going to totally give up sweets and chocolates at new year. I havent got a feel for whether this will be easy or if I will be successful long term. ...Worth a go anyway.
I will still eat cake though.
...Hoping my cake consumption isnt going to rocket as a knock on effect.....
If it does, I suppose I might have to give up cake for the 2026 New Year.

So for todays letter L, I chose Lindt Lindor. They are rather delicious you can only eat a couple as very rich and creamy.
The very last Lindt LINDOR Strawberries and Cream White Chocolate Candy Truffle, White Chocolate with Strawberries and Creamy White Truffle Filling. SO DELICIOUS!!!

A delicious Lindt candy wrapped sweet, milk & white chocolate ball, consisting of a thin layer of outer milk chocolate coating, then inside a fantastic white chocolate inner section.
These particular sweets come in four different types, milk, coconut, strawberry & cream, and my one milk & white.
These are very rich chocolates, and personally not really to my taste.

Macro Monday's and the theme of "Trash".
I had to post this week as I am used to uploading rubbish photos anyway.
I haven't uploaded for quite a few weeks due really to being very busy at home but this weeks theme was too good to miss.
This is the wrapper of a Lindor chocolate produced by the company Lindt.
It is placed on the wrapper of an Easter egg, both of which are in the bin long before editing and uploading.
I tried around five different apertures with three different compositions and decided to go for this one as I quite liked the bokeh in the background.

I like nearly all the Lindor flavours but without doubt coconut is my favourite. I opened this box to set up the photo, now I have to try and just have one or two each evening.

No, just a galactic sized midnight snack attack for yours truly! And no time like the present to grab a few shots in the process.
So what's on the menu? Blueberry scones (very tasty, too), yummy homemade spiced pecans, a few holiday Lindor chocolates, and the Ugly Sweater Sithmas mug is full to the brim with Peppermint Bark coffee with some added coffee cream.
Pretty sure Santa Yoda was thinking, "Eat this now, and stay up all night, you will!"
