新店東華聖宮是一個很冷門看夜景的地點，但卻在攝影人中算是北部很知名拍攝夜景、雲海琉璃和日出的景點！而其特殊的地方在於你可以在同一面的視角看到差異極大的夜景，左邊是繁華的台北盆地夜景，可以眺望台北101，右邊是極為清冷的直潭淨水廠的夜景。
尤其是在秋冬大雨之後，最容易出現很美的雲海琉璃，最常見的就是從台北盆地流入直潭淨水廠的雲瀑，是很難見到的，也是攝影人最愛捕捉的畫面。
Kibitsu-jinja Shrine is closely associated with the figure believed to have inspired the famous Japanese folk tale “Momotaro.” Rebuilt in 1425, the building at the heart of the shrine has been designated a National Treasure. However, the shrine’s grandest feature is its large corridor some 360 m long. While heading to the rear of the corridor, which stretches out in a straight line, visitors will be able to see beautiful seasonal flowers along both sides of the corridor. Starting with cherry blossoms in early spring and peonies and azaleas in May, the shrine offers many worthwhile sights, most notably the 1,500 hydrangeas that fully bloom every June in the “Ajisai-en Garden (Hydrangea Garden).” Peach-shaped romance amulets known as “Momomamori” are popular as souvenirs.

The Taipei Railway Workshop (Chinese: 臺北機廠) was the largest workshop of Taiwan Railways Administration. For decades it manufactured and maintained thousands of railway vehicles. The Workshop was established in 1935 replacing the original workshop, which had become became inadequate. It was the largest railway workshop ever built in Taiwan. The Governor-General of Taiwan recognized its establishment as celebrating the Empire of Japan ruling Taiwan for 40 years.
The 16.82-hectare site on Civic Boulevard was the largest and oldest of its kind on the island. It closed in 2012. It was constructed in 1930 and features distinctive structures such as a 168-meter-long train assembly shed.[1] The operation was transferred to TRA Fugang Vehicle Depot (Chinese: 臺鐵富岡基地).The workshop was recognized as an "official national historic site" in 2015. The government of Taiwan says it is planning to transform the facility into a railway museum.
臺北機廠，簡稱北廠，是臺灣鐵路管理局（簡稱臺鐵）的機務處單位之一，為臺鐵過往主要的車輛維修與改裝基地。
2013年1月10日，富岡車輛基地正式取代其任務。2015年3月15日，臺北機廠舊址經中華民國文化部認定為國定古蹟。
