So after a thrilling day walking for miles around this beautiful city, soaking up art and enjoying the weekend feel in lovely parks we came back to see the Eiffel Tower in its nightime glory.
Unlike at sunrise the riverbank and bridges were bustling and my husband offered to act as safety officer as I blocked part of the bridge with my tripod!
Sadly I'd left my remote at home, so couldn't manage more than a 30 second exposure, but after a few attempts managed to make half decent light trails from the many tourist boats going up and down the river.
Campus Martius lights during the Christmas Season. Well worth a visit, bring the family as there is stuff to do for all ages! The beauty of Detroit's comeback is well worth the trip.
The first light of dawn crests the Wasatch Front as lights of Salt Lake City glimmer in the distance, as seen from the Great Salt Lake’s Stansbury Island.
A simple image of a candle with fairy lights in the background. Complex capture with very very high dynamic range of light intensities, a bit of focus stacking on the candle - have to be fast as the candle is burning down! Bokeh - focus blur on the fairy lights needed a 15mm aperture in front of the f/1.4 lens to get the circles reasonably small. I used an old steel washer mounted on card.
I hope everyone had a glorious & magical Christmas! Stay safe my friends, enjoy the rest of the week =)
This morning in the Humber region we had a slight mist in the air and it was reflecting the Bridge lights.
The North tower lights where reflecting right across the river onto the mud.
