Rocket Bar has overall weird lighting, it's pretty dark, but the lamps are striking and colorful. Here is the collection over the bar area. This photo was the best of a flawed lot.

Crystal Lights Chandelier

The Crystal Lights Chandelier is an art installation for the Tsvetnoy Central Market, a new department store in central Moscow.
The 14 meter wide and six meter deep hanging sculpture evokes the impression of a giant crystal chandelier formed by 49 two meter high crystal shaped light elements.
The installation generates everchanging shape variations, movement and light animations within the array of light elements.
In the evening the chandelier starts to glow like a flower of light. At night the art piece falls into hybernation with only very few movements but a very strong pulsating heartbeat of light giving the Tsvetnoy market with its glass facade a unique landmark appeal in Moscows night scenery.
The Urban Room at the top of the William Penn Hotel is this gorgeous Art Deco ballroom. The room itself is on the Pittsburgh Landmarks List.

Went to Bar Crudo tonight for the first time with my friend Sam, who is a Bar Crudo veteran. It was a lovely evening, and the food was outstanding -- droolworthy Arctic Char, bacontastic seafood chowder, tuna confit, lobster salad with beets...the list goes on, and it was all delicious.
This was the wall across from the elevators. I didn't alter this picture in anyway. This is exactly how I took it. The early morning light was coming in from the left and made the painted red wall look purplish gray.

This historic style of light fixture has interested me since childhood; I grew up in the suburbs, where street light came from our porches. Fixture is located in Tacoma's north slope neighborhood.

This picture is of a celling light fixture located on a stairwell of the Hasty Student Life Center, located on the Waleska Campus of Reinhardt University.
Built in 2007, The Hasty Student Life Center is a 17,000 square feet facility located adjacent to the University's dining and meeting facility, the W. Frank and Evelyn J. Gordy Center.
The Hasty Student Life Center also contains:

The Blackstone Theater opened in 1910, and was designed by Benjamin Marshall and Charles Fox, who also designed the adjacent Blackstone Hotel in 1909. The theater closed in 1988 and was acquired by DePaul University for their theater program.

Designed by Adler and Sullivan. Taken on a Chicago Architecture Foundation walking tour of the south Loop. According to our guide, the box office lobby used to be larger, but was cut down in the 1950s when Congress Parkway was widened.
I doubt these were original but they still are rather attractive fixtures.

Taken in the Asian Art Museum, San Francisco. I made some rather extreme adjustments in Camera RAW to achieve this intensified look.
This bird was taking a break from playing in the water area of the National Japanese American Memorial. The little fellow is perched on a light fixture. At night, the light and the water reflect off the stones quite nicely.
