Göteborg kontraster is a series of 14 images shot in Gothenburg, Sweden, in the spring of 2023. It focuses on the shades of trees and growth in contrast to the disciplined architecture of the city, where the low sun of the afternoon creates aa myriad of shades and details.

4.I hate having my photo taken. A good picture of me simply does not exist.
5.I love movies. My favourite movie of all time is Scarface.
6.I am not what you would call a ‘girlie-girl’. I’m not a huge fan of chick flicks or romance novels.
7.Many years ago (as you now know…) I used to ride a motorcycle. I agreed to give it up when kids came into the scenario. I LOVED my bike! =..^(
8.The moment the kids move out, I’m getting a new bike!!!
9.Before photography, I thought I’d give woodworking a try. Perhaps if I had found a Flickr-like support group for woodworking, my various unfinished bird houses and signs would not be sitting beside the fire pit right now!
Although I’d love to have a cedar strip canoe (or kayak!), I don’t think I’ll be making one of my own any time soon! lol
10.If you were to look up the word ‘procrastinator’, you would see a picture of me. Wait a minute, no you wouldn’t. See #4.
11.I love to write. My secret dream would to someday be published [sigh]
12.I can’t spell. In fact, if someone is aware of a good Canadian dictionary online, please let me know! Spelling has always been a horror in my life. In grade school, nobody studied harder than I did for spelling tests. I would dread going to school on Fridays (aka spelling test day) and in grade 3, the teacher gave out golden star stickers for those who got perfect on their spelling tests. I dreamed of golden star stickers and longed to have the honour of getting my test adorned with one. Then, one Friday, I DID get perfect… and the f*@%ing teacher ran out of golden star stickers!!! Needless to say, school wasn’t a high priority for me after that day.
13.Ummm, oh! The picture! I’m really not a huge fan of girlie like drinks. I might drink one, perhaps two, but really, I find them too sweet. This one was left in my fridge and well, I couldn’t just leave it there!!!
I thought it looked really cool with the Jacuzzi coaster light shining through it!
