My '79 Super Beetle came out of its winter hibernation today. Needs some new struts and shocks, but pretty soon it should be back on the road. As the sticker in the window declares..."Life IS Good"!

On my own for my sixth bear trip, I headed out to explore Grizzly Bears off the Butte Inlet. This tour consisted of platforms and riverside viewing as well as a strong cultural component. The highlight of my trip was watching this bear search underwater for salmon. (Shot with Nikon Z9 70-200mm with 1.4 extender for 400 mm cropped and edited on LR mobile).

Boomer bought us new embroidery scissors from Sajou, and they arrived in the mail today after some delays. Pookie's pair is the small one shaped like the Eiffel Tower, and Schnookie's is the gold-handled, larger pair. Beyond just being marvelous for embroidery, Sajou scissors are a treat for the quaint, wonderful packaging they come in.
It should be mentioned that Pookie needs another pair of scissors like she needs a hole in her head.
